How do I create pages that do not require comments, that aren't blog-like. I was just a normal blank type page that I can adjust to how I want it!
Hi GIBS,
If you select to create a new page, you can get out of the visual box and into the text mode by hitting where it says text in the upper right hand corner of the empty text field (assuming you haven't written anything in there yet). This is where you can paste code. As far as comments go, I'm pretty sure that you can disable comments for different pages in your site.
Scroll down on the new unpublished page to where it says discussion and unselect the allow comments tab.
Hope this helps.
To be honest, not really. I've never used the function and I'm lousy with html or other forms of code. I just know where to find where to put it. But I do believe if you poke around you'll find that someone here in WA has posted a tutorial concerning this. Try the link that alleo attached in his comment :-)

Comments are what keep your pages active and rankings in search engines if/when you dont have time for new posts, why would you not want comments?
