First WA blog. Some newbie advice about Jaaxy and my honest opinions about WA

Hi all! and thanks to all of you who have followed, commented, and shared on my behalf. It is really appreciated.

Just so you know, I still consider myself a newbie here (under 2 months) so no offence intended in the title. I had to think for a few days about what I would write for my first blog (it's an assignment in Course 4, Lesson 7) then suddenly I had three topics, so here goes...

1) Jaaxy. (Read to the end of this for a helpful tip.) I haven't committed yet to the monthly fee for Jaaxy, but I probably will when my site(s) start(s) generating income. Especially after watching Jay use it in live video tutorials. Between his methods there and Kyle's from course training, as well as my experimenting with Google Keywords tool, I can see how valuable Jaaxy can be for not only key word phrases to base posts on, but also for researching new niche topics and domain names.

Now my tip: as a new member here we get to try Jaaxy for 30 searches. I have tried to be as careful as possible so I don't waste those seaches. BUT there is one thing that can accidentally waste those precious searches and should be avoided as a beginner:
When you do a search and are finished using the tool for now, MAKE SURE that you click the X next to your search term in order to clear the search window BEFORE you close Jaaxy. Otherwise when you open Jaaxy the next time it remembers your last search term and does another search on it as the app opens, Effectively wasting one free search. Now you know.

2) Solid Training. (both LIVE and COURSE) I have done plenty of SEO research on my own as well as set up several websites (affiliate and otherwise) though wordpress and other systems before taking the WA courses.

I find both instructors here are very knowledgeable and add lots of extra details to the process that I didn't learn elsewhere. The SEO tips alone are worth the price to me.
The live training alone is worth the price to me. (If you haven't checked out Jay's live training "wabanars" you seriously are missing out. But not really because they are all posted afterwards for watching at your leisure and I advise that you do. Watching and listening to a professional at work is extremely helpful for reducing confusion when you go to do it yourself later. Look to the left column for "Live Video Classes" to see the recordings too.) And Kyle's basic coursework is excellent and guides even a beginner step by step through the process of creating a website. It doesn't get easier than this system for getting a website up and running well.

3) Community. In addition to all of the usual helpful aspects of being in a good community such as support and encouragement, the community here is integrated right into the SEO ranking for every site we create on the WA platform. Every time a community member clicks through, comments, shares your site URL or post it is helping your site rank better. And the comment system is an even bigger help with that too, by getting some early on-topic comments on your posts and pages, so that organic traffic isn't arriving on a page with no previous interactions. Very helpful stuff.

Well this is an essay now, so I'll wrap it up. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!

Welcome Geoff, I know you're not exactly new, but I post this to everyone's first blog that I see.
