Just watched Kyle's 56min. long 'introduction' video on niches - ZOINK!
This video was packed with so much information!
I think a little bit of steam came out my ears.
There was A LOT to take in.
Here's a few golden nuggets from Kyle's video that I saved for myself :
1. Your niche cannot ever be too specific. As a matter of fact you should aim at being very specific and narrow.
Targeting very specific problems. Offering very specific and effective solutions.
2. After defining your very narrow and limited niche
you should research keywords that are low competition.
Why?
Because you want your webpage to end up on Google's 1st page and in the top 3 first results. This equals traffic. Traffic equals increased revenue opportunities.
Use the WA - keyword search tool to find the keywords you need!
Keywords that have <100 searches are low competition and can be very powerful.
3. (My favorite) Don't worry about competition when you enter a niche. You are the competition entering the niche. Masses of people don't know what they are doing.
You have the competitive advantage. Because YOU KNOW what you are doing.

I think you have gotten the gist of it. Kyle is right. The training here puts you far above others that are just trying to make a website.
