Enjoy the Time We Have!
My daughter is 12 today! Yes, that is her riding a Texas longhorn... My son is 13, and my little one is 3. The time goes by in a flash! They are the main reason I am here at Wealthy Affiliate. My goal is to make enough money to give them a happy life... just kidding! I am here to be able to contribute to our household income because I enjoy staying home with them so we can have more happiness together.
Each moment is precious.
Every moment I can spend with my family instead of in an office is precious to me. They are still dependent on me for much of their happiness. If I cannot do something that I can enjoy, then it can drain you of happiness when you get home. I worked for about 4 years as a bookkeeper/manager for a large wedding venue, and it seemed like I was working 24/7! Constantly being there for everyone else's happy moments, but I was missing out on the family moments.
Do something you enjoy!
My 92 year old grandma is dying. Yes we are all dying, but she has chosen not to have surgery to attempt to stop the bleeding in her brain... With 7 children and maybe 30-40ish grand/great-grandchildren she has danced her way through life! Literally! Her and my grandpa were wonders on the dance floor!
She has lived such a long and happy life surrounded by family. I want to be like her when I grow up! If we are not doing the things in life that bring us joy, then what is the point? Let us enjoy the work we do so we can look back and smile!

Let us live, laugh, and love our lives! Do something that brings you joy. Do something that you can look back on and smile. I have found that here at Wealthy Affiliate! This is my job...

We all have our ups and downs, but that is part of life. I choose to learn and laugh from the downs, and jump up and down at the ups! Very true and touching post, Gerri. Life is too short--something many of us still stuck i the daily grind seem to forget! We need to stop, smell the coffee and make time to cherish some of those moments before they are gone forever! Thanks for the reminder!
