Blender 3D Software

Not sure if you know the Blender 3D Software. It's a professional 3D software and it's open source. It's not easy to use, it took me a few hours to figure out how to handle the basics.

You can create Logos, animated films, 3D text, animation of text, fluid simulation, video games, you can do video editing and photorealistic rendering – and so much more!

You have to know some shortkeys in order to move the object on the interface, you have to set up the lighting and also the camera. Sometimes you are fiddling for half an hour to get your object in the right position! :) But the results are really amazing!

You can play with the indirect lighting and get this glow effect:

You can even make intros for your website and short animation. And you always have to render what you are creating. This 7 seconds animation took mit about 3 hours to render, but the result is amazing:

3D Text Animation

I started 2015 with the program but did not do that much, until now. Since I have my websites, I wanted to learn how to create nice 3D text, logos, banners and headlines. I am very happy about the results (those who are connected with me on facebook might know already some of my pieces I created).

I made those two bursting planets yesterday by simply following the instructions of a video tutorial:

And now I am just wondering: are there any Blender artists here in the community? Sometimes it would be very nice to get some help or some inspiration....
