Physical or Digital or Both?

Need your input!

I just finished a physical product store - paid traffic driven.

I am almost done with a digital product site - SEO organic traffic driven.

Then, Laziness kicks in...

Should I have a content rich keyword driven site say about yoga, with a tab for physical products, and even a tab for digital products or something along that line of thoughts.

Rationale: I can focus on building a content rich niche specific site as per WA but without any ads or links crawling over my contents or content pages. This part will be used to drive organic traffic.

Meanwhile, people visiting can also see the shopping tabs, and can click to browse and shop.

At the same time I can drive people to either the shop or content pages.

Your thoughts!

Thank you kindly for listening.

Cheers!

I think you have a better understanding than most about the "how" of doing all this. Since you already have completed your store for physical products, I would say try to add relevant content right to that site, with a focus on the "why" of your niche. Some people will come via paid traffic just for the physical product, but will stay or will come again if there is great content. Other people will come via organic growth if you have great content, but as you point out they will then discover the physical products that match their interest. Shopping tabs make sense for those who want to browse or sort products, but include plenty of links within your written content as well to the pages of the products you are discussing.

Thank you kindly for your sound advice. I'll do some thinking along those lines.
Cheers!

I like what ED has said and I would say exactly the same - two out of two

Thank you Paul for your input, cheers!

I don't see any problem with a niche site and a product or two to sell also. It creates a store-like environment. Go for it Gerald!
