Managing Time
Hi Guys,
I really meant to blog something last week. It wasn't the above title though, I was going to talk about my first week with WA and how much I'd learned and the lovely people I had help from and just basically getting to know what it was all about and to say how gratefull I was for the new experience etc.
However that all changed last week because of the way I work ( i'm a contractor) and of course I had to go work a job that took me away from my beloved new project.
Being the person I am I deliver my work wholeheartedly and without distraction which is a good thing in essence but in life can be quite frustrating in a way because everything else must take a back seat and sometimes i wish i was without the shackles of time as my work can often occupy me for up to 16 hours per day including travel which leaves not very much time for anything else.
At first I felt as though I'd let myself down because I couldn't continue as I wanted to but then i thought that this project really is a time thing and I've got lots of time ( I'm 56 ) to complete what I've now started and grown to enjoy in such a short time it is essentially a project that needs stickablility and a willingness to learn and adapt to change within markets, our market being the seperate universe called the the internet, ever changing and all evolving.
So my message is to all you guys who feel clogged down with time ( you couples with young children, the unemployed , the newlyweds, the young people , the old people don't worry just stick with it this really is a wonderful life and we have all the time in our world to complete what we start, just BELIEVE!!
Thanks people for a truly fantastic two weeks start to what i believe will be my biggest and most successful project ever....no matter how long it takes :)

I can relate to the time struggle. I want to work on my website 50 times more than my time allows. It's all a balancing act and can get very frustrating. I do what I can and that's all we can do....at each of our individual paces:)
Oh George, I can't tell you how difficult it is for me to manage time too. I find that works best for me is retreating to the library. It is totally free of distractions and you get about 2-4 lessons completed in 2-3 hours. I just go straight after work that way I have no excuse not to. Its kinda like going to the gym to lose weight, if you want it bad enough you will figure it out. Good luck!

This is a common with many members, including myself. I wore myself right out when I started here which is unproductive, so I now pace myself. It isn't a race & we'll all get to the destination at the end in our own time :)

One of the reasons i started working online was the freedom it gives me to lead my life the way i want. Its so unlike a offline job where you have a boss or customers needs to see to! Great post.

Thank you for this sound message/advice to all groups of people in WA community. Sticking (working on) to a project long enough without distraction will always result in success which each and every one of us is looking for,
Life become very sweet when you see the result of working and you have the freedom of time to enjoy the fruit of your labour with your love ones. Again, this is what we are striving for.
