To all " newbies" from a newby"
Hi everyone the title tells it all really. When i first started at WA ( a month ago) I was just overwhelmed by all the messages of support and encouragement I received that I just completely forgot about why I was here.....which was to learn how to build an internet business that was sustainable and long lasting and ever evolving.
Before I knew it I was trying to understand what the Ambassadors and members who have been working this for years were blogging and giving advice to other members who were past the training stage and had their websites and businesses up and running. A lot of things I did understand but really I should of been doing the training because without that training you can't understand a lot of what is going on within WA.
I was getting side tracked with my Facebook profile then other widgets and apps for this and for that and today with my Gmail account which is silly really because I haven't finished my website yet.
I would just like to say for everyone who has just started WA recently or today even, if you are reading this,the most important thing is to start one of the training programs and continue on till you have completed your tasks that way you will have a good grounding going forward. I'm not saying don't answer your likes and the members joining your group because that is part and parcel of your training here at WA but the most important thing is yourself and your development going forward.
There are so many success stories here and fabulous people who will be able to help you along the way it really is a good place to be.

Hi George that is such good advice and I can relate to it totally. The first month is so overwhelming so much information and just trying to work out how the system works. This post will be so helpful for anyone new here. Thankyou.

Hi Alexander well said, the first month is where all the info all comes in at once and trying to prioritise can be difficult but I firmly believe follow the training first and get a good grounding before the other network stuff there plenty of time for that. Many thanks for your comments

Yes it's only now that I have my website running and have started to need answers that I came to the community - and both took AND made sure I gave too!! But your first priority is to get the training done and to get your website up and running!! Totally agree with what you have said here George! :)
Hi Sarah yes it's taking a while to get this going but I'm exceptionally busy with my other work and really lucky I have it. This Internet business will be my salvation and will stop me working these ridiculous hours I'm doing. Thanks for your comments Sarah and enjoy the sunshine in Dubai :-)

Very well said George, it's extremely easy to be sidetracked when the emphasis should be on progressing through the training, (at least through course 1 and maybe the boot camp for those who want to be a WA affiliate), building your site and getting plenty of good content on your pages and posts on your blog.
Do that and anybody will be well on their way to a successful online business.

No problem George, I've had plenty of time available to me so my "model" of climbing the rankings hasn't really had much of an impact on my progress but anybody who doesn't have much time should DEFINITELY concentrate on the training and building their site.
