This is a transcript of an article I wrote a few years back! I am hoping it "informs"!

Breast Cancer Cure

The Budwig Protocol has been hailed as the most prominent protocol used for breast cancer cure. The long history of the Budwig Protocol’s quick healing impact, that rescued hordes of stage IV breast cancer cases, was acknowledged by many traditional doctors and published in books and medical transcripts by physicians who experimented with the protocol and witnessed firsthand the rapid and, most times, complete recovery of breast cancer patients.

“What Dr. Johanna Budwig has demonstrated to my initial disbelief but lately to my complete satisfaction in my practice is: CANCER IS EASILY CURABLE, the treatment is dietary/lifestyle, the response is immediate’; the cancer cell is weak and vulnerable; the precise biochemical breakdown point was identified by her in 1951 and is specifically correctable, in vitro (test tube) as well as in vivo (real)...” (Dr. Roehm, “Townsend Letter for Doctors”, July 1990).

Who is Dr. Johanna Budwig? Johanna Budwig was an old school German biochemist who developed expertise in the study of fats and oils. She obtained a doctorate in Natural Science. She had training in the medical field, was educated in pharmaceutical science, physics, botany, and biology. She was nominated six times for a Nobel Prize and although she did not win, her work was universally lauded by peers who were impressed by the continued success of her applications and the unbelievable results.

Dr. Budwig’s Anti Cancer Diet

Dr. Budwig’s protocol consists of an anti­cancer dietary regimen that base its discipline in benefits of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Milk and nutrition that advocate consumption of fruits, vegetables, and fiber complete the entire menu structure. It also advises strict abstinence from fats of animals, red meats, butter, oils, sugar, and specifically margarine. The results of the implementation of this regimen were simply amazing. Claims that the cancer tumors within three months were significantly reduced or even totally obliterated highlighted the effectiveness of the protocol. Stories of patients who were given only months or weeks to live and underwent Budwig’s diet recounted numerous cases of miraculous recoveries.

The too good­to­be­true perspective of Budwig’s protocol intuitively nurtured widespread skepticism specially among the medical orthodoxy. It was a particularly effective breast cancer cure that showcased its constant success and potential where orthodox medicine failed. Ten reliable years of success in Budwig’s application of her protocol validated the confidence of forward looking conventional and alternative medical practitioners who observed live its incredible healing power.

This outstanding protocol of Dr. Budwig still does not lack in doubters. This negative attitude does not help in preparing the medical community to evaluate this most efficient alternative breast cancer cure. The prevailing culture is closely linked to tested ritual of soliciting the doctor’s assurance whenever health issues come up. Naturally faced with the more menacing horror of cancer the knee-jerk reaction is to take the usual route to the conventional doctor. Immediately time constraint suggests the safest decision is to let the doctor formulate the decisions. Unless the doctor happens to also have the non­conventional medicine persuasion, choices become limited to the existing invasive treatments, namely surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

Testimonials

Cancer is a death sentence for anyone whose knowledge of it is defined only by experiences with loved ones, relatives, friends, acquaintances who traveled that road. An alternative treatment instance is rarely, if ever, the road taken by those afflicted. All the stories testified to the rigors that the cancer patient endured because the only treatment choice is what his/her conventional doctor is able to recommend and implement. It is too lengthy a discussion to articulate here.

Now here is an alternative method, the Budwig protocol, that for ten solid years of application recorded such unimaginable results since 1952, it is difficult to comprehend why it hardly was a topic of discussion whenever another person known or dear to us passed this way without having EVER that opportunity to be informed, why it was never a newspaper headline or a media spectacle to be celebrated.

Breast Cancer testimonials, taken from the compilations of R. Webster Kehr, Mr. Beckwith, and Dr. Jenkins to reinforce the effectiveness of the Budwig Protocol:

1. Nov. 3, 2003 Narrative extract from a Letter of a Nan Parsons: Nan Parsons’ biopsy manifested a “lobular, infiltrating carcinoma”. The doctor stated that it is malignant and recommended a “double mastectomy, followed by chemo”. Nan objected, informing the doctor that her husband had pancreatic cancer in 1994, used alternative treatments and fully recovered. She told him she was planning to do the same. The doctor said, “I will help you”, left the room, and was never heard from again. This was the normal attitude of conventional physicians who were educated in the established medical orthodoxy. Not at all discouraged Nan selected a female doctor of osteopathic who agreed to work with her. Meanwhile she went on the Budwig Protocol treatment and some 13 months later the new physician confirmed with her that the breast lump which measured 6 centimeters in diameter was reduced to only 1.3 centimeters. Nan was hoping that in 6 more months the tumor will be gone.

2. Neenah Payne was diagnosed September 28, 2004 with breast cancer of 1.4 centimeters, a malignant, invasive lobular carcinoma . Her physician alerted her that without a lumpectomy and radiation within a month and chemotherapy later, the cancer would spread, shut down major organs one by one, and kill her. However Neenah was fortunate enough to know of the alternative treatment of Budwig and followed its regimen in spite of her physician’s opposition and warning that the alternative approach does not work. Under Budwig’s protocol she noticed that in one week the two patches of gray hair growth around the lump immediately disappeared! By December 18, the tumor shrunk a bit. By January 8 the lump shrunk 50% and by April, the attending acupuncturist told her that the lump is no longer palpable.

3. Summer of 1996 after her third chemo Debbie was listening to a tape about Budwig protocol. Immediately encouraged by what she heard, she went into the dietary regimen of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese of the protocol. At the next chemo session the lump still showed a little growth. She decided then to apply exclusively the Budwig protocol’s diet to enjoy the full benefit of the protocol. She noted the rapid shrinking of the tumor. The last call between Mr. Beckwith and Debbie was remembered by her triumphant exclamation, “Praise the Lord!!!”. That said it all.

4. A lady friend of Mr. Beckwith’s beekeeping association, Emma a church organist, had an advanced cancer that metastasized to the bones. She was given a tape with Budwig protocol’s information. Her physician advised chemotherapy to shrink the tumor and surgery to prevent its eruption. She declined that treatment and started taking the flaxseed oil to supplement her diet. This did not work because she did not include cottage cheese because she did not like the taste. Mr. Beckwith gave her Companion Nutrients as a substitute. One of the few times he visited afterwards, she saw her mowing her lawn and tending to her garden. Her hospice nurse confessed that the doctor gave her just a month to survive. But she lasted 22 months before she passed away. Her daughter told Mr. Beckwith that she stopped taking the Companion Nutrients and went downhill quickly shortly before she died. This caused Mr. Beckwith to wonder if she used the protocol correctly, would she still be playing the church organ on Sundays?

. Jean D. Thomas, age 51, weighing 185, had stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized to the bone and cancer in vertebrae and right humerus. She underwent lumpectomy and chemo and radiation in 2009 and 2010. She experienced neck shoulder and back pain sometimes and uses fentanyl patch to relieve her neck pain. She also had diabetes. She started on the "fast track" program of Budwig Center in Dec 13, 2010 with Dr. Jenkins and Feb 1st 2011, (1 1/2 months later) her report back to the Cancer Center states that the tumor CA2729 level went from 146.8 on December 13, 2010 to 23.7 on February 1, 2011. The normal range is from 0 to 37.7. She also observed that the fatty lump on her left buttock that bothered her for 20 years vanished; a nodule on her toe due for surgery was gone; a bump at the bottom joint of her right ring finger that was there for years also disappeared.

6. Dalis Jurado, a Panamanian patient of Dr. Jenkins of the Mariposas Clinic in Spain had breast cancer. Through the guidance and supervision of Dr. Jenkins she used the Budwig protocol. Her last cat scan, lab work and mammography showed that she was free of cancer. She thanked the doctor profusely for letting her benefit from the protocol and the recommended flaxseed oil and cottage cheese diet, vitamin supplements, avoidance of the wrong foods, and also the use of that “great machine” to prevent any virus and other illness. She also noted that during the flu season, all her family caught the virus except her who was always the sickly one.

7. Sabine Heinemann, a 49 Year old female from the Netherlands was diagnosed with breast cancer (left), initially with 3 affected lymph nodes and also her back in the area of her left kidney. She endured 18 sessions of IPT chemo which allegedly removed the primary node and one lymph node. On Feb 7, 2011 a 2 week program at Budwig Center earned this comment from Sabine: "Thank you for a two week "mind blowing" experience at the Budwig Center". On March 25, 2011 she received results back from Dr. Navarro clinic and her cancer now read at a very low level of 51.4 (49 indicates cancer free).

8. Lynette was diagnosed with a positive breast lump, 7.5 cm, of which only a third could be removed, and not having all options available then, started with chemo in January. After 3 treatments she lost all her body hair, got really ill and had her immune system affected adversely. Her sister in desperation started a research and came across the flaxseed oil/cottage cheese protocol which she immediately started. Her cancer count went from 78 to 43 on her next blood count 3 weeks later before the next round of chemo. She knew it was the flaxseed oil and cottage cheese because before that, with just chemo, the count did not change at all. By the time she finished chemo, the count was on 23 and 2 months (stopped chemo) later was still coming down. Connected to her story was that a friend also developed breast cancer, had a mastectomy and had to undergo chemo as well. She was a bit hesitant to follow her advice and not have chemo. Before she started chemo, Lynette put her friend on flax oil/cottage cheese and her own supplementation programme and diet. She started chemo ­exactly the same as she had­ including adriamycin, the “traditional hair remover”. She completed the treatment and to this day, HAS NOT LOST ONE SINGLE HAIR !!!! Also, she was never nauseous, never had a mouth sore, never had a problem with low white blood count, and never got sick with so much as a cold right through the very cold winter that year. The protocol simply works!!!

Conclusions

Many other miraculous breast cancer cures were recorded and are made available to the global community courtesy of this new paradigm of communication, the Internet. Although the gateway to the world of alternative treatments not only of breast cancer but also of all types of cancer is today just at the tip of a finger or a tiny click of a mouse in your computer, many of us are still compelled to leave that ultimate decision to someone whose studies and experiments are confined to the traditions of our established medical institutions. Traditional medicine does not have all the answers just as we know that medicine is not a perfect science. Given the history of traditional medicine’s success with the treatment of cancer and the often buried or even outlawed alternative treatment that succeeded where traditional treatments failed, dealing with what was a sure death sentence is no longer an exercise in futility.

The only challenge left is for us to tweak our perception restrained by our fears peddled by our own traditional medical practitioners and aided by our complacency. Trapped in the web of these boundaries we have to weigh the risks of all the choices now within easy reach and help those who are forced to a life­and­death confrontation with a disease that has perplexed the medical minds for ages.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It will only get brighter. With the rosy promise of a Budwig Protocol and other alternative protocols coming to the market, our health, our life is no longer hostage to old medical limitations. In fact medicine is growing with all these amazing discoveries. At the end of the day we are presented with these findings that will only improve the already glowing percentages of the breast cancer cure.
