Unbelievable but true - Fat is good for you
It is true that obesity is a huge problem everywhere now. But one fallout of our increasingly health conscious times is that we have demonized fat.
This is also not right, which is also being proved more than over. All the foods that were banished from our plates – ghee, butter eggs -- have made a dramatic comeback as super foods. Fat is good for you.
Researchers can't make up their minds
It seems that no particular food can be proved to be good or bad conclusively, as one day eggs are back in our favors and the next they are out again, but the experience of human palate, which is more steady than this ping ponging, tell us that any food that is natural and wholesome is not that bad.
Which includes oils and fats that are found naturally or are not processed too much. They do not add so much to the bad cholesterol, sometimes even lowers it, gives us more energy, and gives us a glow in our chicks. Besides, the right amount of oil or fat is good for constipation. And fat always makes food tasty, and it’s not wrong for food to make you want to eat it.
Ghee (clarified butter) is a super food now. Doctors are asking us to cook in mustard oil instead of various kinds of processed or refined oils. Coconut oil is another good food. In the West, and in South East Asia too, olive oil is considered another benevolent oil. Go for these and have a great time.
The thing to only remember is that too much of any good thing is not good.

It is not possible to lose weight from selective organs of our body. One has to aim at overall weight loss.
Consider walking at least 30 mins every day. As a matter of fact, I do have an article published on my blog about the benefits of walking 30 mins every day.

I switched to using ghee last year instead of using vegetable oil. I also use coconut oil. Eliminating most processed foods (carbs) and eating more fresh food is a health game-changer.
Bottom line: Making simple changes to your diet will have big benefits.
Did I mention that I have lost 30 pounds in the last year? Well, I did. :)
