A Good Way to Weed Out the Chaff
So I've been out there getting affiliate programs related to my niche and I am blown away by not only the quantity of companies willing to give a good commission but also the quality of some of the companies. Many have tutorial programs to help you with your business and just by going through the various companies available I have changed my mind about who I am recommending to my readers. This is great because it helps me weed out the weak offers and better earn the trust of my target audience by recommending only those who I would personally feel comfortable dealing with.
I'm sure that it happens from time to time that you recommend a product or service that turns out to be unreliable or worse a scam but by thouroughly going through the affilate programs you can eliminate a lot of so-so offerings. I found it an exccellent exercise and will make sure to always do this when researching future niches.
I am now affiliated with 6 different companies and am looking forward to driving their sales and my profits.
Anyone else having similar mind opening experiences?
Happy Friday all,
George

That's great that you are having such success. I'm not sure what you niche is, but if it is physical products, you'll also find much longer cookies from programs other than Amazon (known for their 1-day cookie) in addition to higher commissions. Are you working through networks? That way you can see your results each day with one login rather than logging into six different interfaces.

I really hope that nobody recommends an unreliable product or service. That is the entire point of doing affiliate marketing to showcase only the best of the bunch and not the complete s*** ones that would ruin a business.
Couldn't agree more but if someone doesn't do proper research things can sneak past them so it is very important to do so.
