Thanks for sharing your story Davida, it's really difficult when family members can't be more supportive. But we can't allow them to hold us back. WA is a supportive community that inspires me to be the best I can be. All the best Davida :-)

if I let them hold me back I wouldn't be where I am today with my goals---I've had to distance my self from my family because they're toxic---didn't talk to my mother for 3 years at one time and didn't see her the last year of her life---when I remember her or think of her now it's all the negativity that she spewed---sad when you don't have any good memories of a parent when they're no longer around---for my mother it was all about the money and what she could steel from you and was very narrow minded---for me it was their love which they didn't know how to give---so I learned to love myself and have as little to do with them

That's sad Davida. I'm grateful I had supportive parents, and brothers and sister. But I have friends that are negative - I don't see them as often as I used to which has been good for my growth. All the best on your journey to success :-)
