90 Day WA Challenge Report from Gail - Week 2
Hello lovely people
I hope you've had a great Monday. Here is my second instalment in my WA Challenge as initiated by Jeremy, which you can read on his blog at: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jdenesovych/blog/the-90-day-wake-up-call-starts-now-and-heres-your-step-by-step-plan. Thanks, Jeremy!
To recap, the targets for the first 4 weeks are:
✅ Weeks 1–4: Lay the Foundation (July)
- Choose ONE niche and site
- Define ONE goal (posts, list, sales, subs — pick YOUR focus)
- Publish 1–2 pieces of content per week
- Leave 5 WA comments/week
- Share 1 post externally (FB, X, Pinterest, etc.)
- Start a weekly blog or journal-style post on WA
And here's how I've got on this week
1. I'm working on my The Creative Choice site for this challenge.
2. Last week, my goal was to redesign my homepage, which I'm still in the process of doing. I did a lot of research in week 1, and I've been using ChatGPT (Sparky) to come up with some better content and I'm finally learning how to use the block editor and my theme together to create a much more visually-appealing and useful homepage. Hopefully, I'll have it finished by next week so I can showcase it to anyone interested.
Over the weekend, I've also been setting up my Woo Commerce plugin so that I can sell some digital and physical products, but this is proving a little more difficult than it would have you believe, and so it is very much a 'work in progress' for this coming week. I'll let you know how it goes.
3. I have published the following content this week for this site:
- 3 x blog posts all related to the theme of dreams (dream interpretation, lucid dreaming and cultural beliefs about dreams)
- 1 x newsletter for my very small list (currently 6 people, so plenty of room for growth there!)
- 31 x Facebook/Instagram posts
- 3 x Facebook/Instagram stories
- 4 x short reels (less than 1 min) and 1 x longer, 3-min video on YouTube
4. I have left at least 5+ comments on WA this week
5. I shared a great post about the changes to Instagram and Facebook, which will affect our rankings.
6. This is my weekly blog at the moment, although I also published another blog about just getting things done and the value of progress over perfection.
My thoughts on the week
My thoughts on this week can be summed up in this image below - a lot of 'juggling balls in the air' and me not managing to catch them all.

I knew when I started applying myself 100% to my businesses that it would be tough at times, but this week I've faced a few technical issues with trying to set things up that haven't quite gone my way. But I'm not crying over a dropped juggling ball... I'll just pick it up again when I get a moment!
I'm pleased with my content output this week, especially my Facebook/Instagram output, but this was due to the fact that last Sunday (not yesterday), I sat down and scheduled all my posts for the week within a few hours. It really allowed me to relax over the week a little and concentrate on something else. I may have to do that again as the block content production worked well.
I didn't get as many videos out this week as I would have liked, and the ones I did do, have not had too many views - enough, I think, to keep the channel ticking over, but nothing really noteworthy as yet.
And that's it for this week
I hope this helps a few people in some way. There's still time to join the challenge if you want to. You can start anytime to make a difference to your business.
Onward and upward as they say... "they" being the juggling balls, I guess!
Have a productive week, everyone.
Gail

Like you, I am juggling with several balls in the air. I found with the challenge focusing on one website, I was neglecting the other as well as my book publishing projects, so I am trying to rectify this in the coming week and have a more balanced approach.
Wishing you a productive week too.

Hey Gail, what an interesting challenge. It is great that you are implementing these tasks into your real business, as this compels you to get going. I would make the YouTube long-form videos at least 8 to 10 minutes long, though. The algorithm favours videos at least 8 minutes long, and you have more room for AdSense placement.
What are you struggling with regarding WooCommerce?
Hi Hein. Thanks for this. I think you have told me about the long form videos needed to be longer before so I need to do some of those. I'd really like to do some to-camera posts of that length but my teacher status is a bit limiting at the moment. Still, it's on my list!
I've had trouble integrating Woo Commerce with my websites - not sure if it's a site support issue but just going through some training to make sure I haven't done something stupid!
Don't be afraid of showing your face, in case you are... You can exploit AI haha... We have been using AI for our faceless videos for a long time, and as long as you bring high value to the table, YouTube will love it and boost your content.
Ok, maybe it's best to contact the WA experts for your WooCommerce issues. I know about it, but not how it works here exactly. Don't ever put yourself down like that. Nobody is stupid unless they portray evil tendencies.
Gail, you’re killin’ it! That’s a ton of solid work packed into one week. Love the dream theme stuff, and major props for diving into WooCommerce and the block editor not easy but you’re making it happen. Dropped balls just mean you’re doing big things. Keep at it!
I still have a lot to do myself in the block editor haven’t even thought about WooCommerce yet. Awesome stuff, looking forward to seeing what you do next week!
Shawn
You betcha, Gail! That’s what it’s all about showing up, helping out, and walking this path together. Grateful for you!
Shawn
This is AWESOME! Keep it going! I love how you've made your blog your mission to update! Keep up the good working!
Thanks Jeremy. I think the accountability in a challenge like this is awesome too. It really is a prod in the ribs! Thank you - in the nicest possible way.

Hi Gail,
Congrats on another productive week in the challenge! I’m always impressed by your honesty about the ups and downs—it makes your updates so relatable and encouraging for everyone else following along.
Your content output is incredible, especially the way you’ve managed to schedule and keep up with all the social channels. Love the “juggling balls” analogy too—it’s the perfect way to describe how this online journey feels sometimes!
You’re handling the tech challenges and new tools like a pro, and your positive attitude shines through, even when things get tricky. Keep it up—you’re inspiring more people than you know!
Wishing you another week of progress (and maybe a few less balls to juggle!).

Ahh - what a lovely message Sonia. Thank you. I really appreciate it and your support. We are all in the same boat really, and I remember how much I still appreciate reading other people's successes and challenges too.
Life is full of ups and downs - that's what makes it worth living in my book, and I certainly feel better when I've overcome a challenge.
Keep going with your own projects and we'll all meet up in the harbour of success soon!
