Let me show you all something that will make you realise how you are tricked into thinking most forex EAs will make you rich. This EA was something I downloaded from one of the top 'forex guru' programmers.

Picture 1 shows the backtest results over a 7 year period using the standard MT4 tick data (which doesn't actually give you every tick) provided by the broker. $10k apparently turns into over $660k

Picture 2 show the backtest results over the SAME 7 year period using REAL tick by tick data downloaded from a reliable third party and then uploaded to MT4. In reality this EA consistently loses money...

So if you ever even think about using an EA on your live account, make sure you've tested real tick by tick data first. 99% of the results you see that show crazy returns with tiny drawdown are not tested on real tick data.
