Patience- an asset or not?
Morning people of the world. How are we all? I hope that you are all progressing well on Wealthy Affiliates?
Today, I'm going to be talking about patience. I've found that I have struggled with being patient. I arrive early at airports, train stations, transport hubs, and have to wait. I have done this for years, even before security became an issue post-9/11. Growing up and traveling to and from Northern Ireland has taught you to do so.
My personality is such that initially I craved instant results. Not because I am impatient, but my immature personality meant I expected instantaneous answers!
My personal battle with depression and addiction has meant I have had to sit back and work at things. My dyslexia and dyspraxia have also not helped in this area. I have been taught that it is best to sit back and just relax, and let events occur, provided you are working towards your goal.
The same is true here on WA. No one is going to give you riches tomorrow or later on today, but Hard Work pays off. Solid foundations. You can't build a structure on wafer thin footings.
So one must pay their apprenticeship. Personally, I have tried to follow The Ambassadors, The Top 200, and listen or read what they have done. I urge you to do something similar. Patience pays off, or to quote Gary Player, "The more I practice, The luckier I get".
So the more I read and study about personal development here on WA, the more I understand what I need to do. I'm prepared to work hard and genuinely I believe that I will succeed here on this platform. I hope you do the same, and feel the same too.
I do have a degree, but I know, not just feel, that the education that I'm receiving is so superior to what I learnt at university. I'm not putting down my degree, or subsequent profession, but I'm stale and need a new challenge, and hopefully an income stream as well. I believe that when you can develop other income streams, you are positively yourself. But obviously this takes time.
Develop patience to succeed. The results will be more beneficial to you.

Patience is definitely a requirement in this game. Too many people fail through nothing other than impatience. Success takes time and dedication. Certainly from a Google trust perspective, Age, Authority and Content are the key trust builders.
