Amazon fba
Do any WA members have any experience with Amazon FBA? I've been researching it just a little, and there are lots of gurus who will train me (for lots of money) but I'd like to find someone here who could offer some insight. I believe my fellow WA members will be more honest and forthcoming than someone trying to sell me something. Silly me!
Someone willing to share first-hand knowledge about Fulfillment By Amazon, good or bad, might be able to provide information of interest to many other WA members as well.
Many of us suffer from the "Shiny Object Syndrome". I think that's part of our nature and helps explain why we're here at WA.
A detailed account or just a brief statement pro or con would be appreciated. Even a pointer in the right direction would help.
Thank you in advance for any information or help you can offer.
Frank

We also have looked at it, but have no experience thus far. We will be watching your post to see the response you get. All the best in your venture.

Are you looking at it from the aspect of products to promote? I've been an Amazon Prime member for a few years now, and the majority of the products I purchase are FBA. They are guaranteed 2-day delivery with Prime.
FBA products are, as the name implies, products that reside in an Amazon warehouse, and Amazon ships the item out to the customer. 3rd Party sellers on Amazon, can also utilize FBA, but there are certain steps you need to follow. Your products all have to have a specific barcode on them with some form of product title.
I sell on Handmade @ Amazon, and do have the option to transition some of my items to FBA, but I personally don't like the idea of giving up control over my products, especially when there is a chance that something could get damaged in the warehouse and sent to the customer without you even knowing it.
I hope this is at least somewhat helpful, if not please let me know what other questions you may have.
I'm considering selling an item that will be manufactured and shipped from China to an Amazon warehouse. Drop shipping is not an option from them. It's unique, and there's nothing like it on Amazon or anywhere else I can find. It is currently being sold only in the Southeast Asia/South Pacific area.
I've been doing a lot of research, but the only "answers" I can find are from people selling training.
I was hoping someone here at WA has some actual experience they would be willing to share.
Ok, so the item will be in Amazon's warehouse, and they will handle all the logistics, ie Shipping, packaging, customer service.
I've had experience with items from China in the past, and the only way I would promote something from China is if it is FBA. preferably with prime shipping. Items shipped directly to the consumer, especially here in the US, can take almost a month to arrive, which can seriously turn buyers off unless they know there will be a shipping delay.
This may help, just remove the spaces since web addresses are a no-no. Hopefully it's not restricted to sellers only.
