Using Pinterest Insights To Find Your Audience With Niche Combinations!

What do guitars have to do with fast cars?
Just a quick post on targeting category combinations for your Pinterest audience using the "Insights" analytics functionality.
This can be especially effective if your niche is not among the most popular categories on Pinterest, like mine, which is the guitar niche.
Combining Niches
One approach for creating interest in the pins you make is to look for another niche that links up nicely with yours.
I happen to know that guitars and cars are a popular combination, especially among Rock and Metal players. I've attended too many guitar conventions to count over the years that have car shows happening in the same parking lot. Who could ask for more, right? Lol 😎
Checking the Analytics
Pinterest Insights can quickly confirm that guitars and cars are a good match. Check out the numbers below.
My audience size in the past month was 26,000, which could be bigger if I combined it with other categories and related interests. My audience size will continue to grow as I continue to create pins. I've only been at this for about two months.
Almost 60% of my audience also has an interest in vehicles, which are mostly cars. The majority are male, 18 to 34 and 55 to 64. Just walk through the Guitar Center, and it's loaded with that age demographic! Lol 👍
Time to Automate with AI!
As someone who loves guitars and fast cars, what else could I do but create a GPT to automate the process? Haha
It researches the image of a Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Mustang, Camaro, Charger, Challenger, F-150, Silverado, or Jeep and combines the vehicle with the researched image of a Stratocaster, Telecaster, Les Paul, SG, Flying V, PRS, or Warlock guitar.
Here's an example of a pin it created using a Maserati and a Gibson SG guitar in a garage from the seed keyword "Gibson SG" (it appears much clearer looking in the actual pin).
Here's what the GPT generated to go along with the image.

Initial Results
This particular pin is still in the Pinterest scheduler, but the guitar and car combo pins are already doing better than expected! I only started creating these combo pins about a week ago, so the real numbers are not in yet, but it looks like a promising combo.

Yeah, me, too! However, you can see that on Pinterest, cars are 84.5% while motorcycles are only 35.3%, but ideally, I could create a GPT for both combinations.
Carrying a guitar and amplifier on a motorcycle is a lot harder, although a band member used to manage it when I was in high school.
I'd need a big 18-wheeler truck because I'm way out of control. Hahaha 😂🤣
