Another Piece of the Productivity Puzzle

A few days ago I wrote a post about productivity and setting up goals, which I promised to update regularly, since this is a subject I'm working on personally.

So far this post has had a very positive impact on my life and my productivity. How?

Well, Richard became my accountability partner.

This is another thing I've heard from many successful people to be important but never really found one. (hadn't tried too hard to be honest)

Well, reporting from the first day of our accountability partnership, this was one of the best things I did for my productivity.

We set our 6 Task Lists (see previous post) and shared them with each other. I'm happy to report that I accomplished my first task on my first day.

This is my tip #1 => Get an accountability partner and report to him/her daily

The second thing I'd like to share is a practice I learned yesterday and started it myself, and it feels good.

Tip #2 => Write down your major goals for the year, every morning.

I know it sounds a little extreme, but it feels great, and it works.

Let me explain, the biggest problem I find in myself that prevents productivity is inertia.

I've been carrying a goal card with me for a while now, but to be honest, it gets lost and forgotten even though it's in my pocket.

By writing down my goals, I think about them, feel them, and more importantly, take action. Writing is an action, reading not so much...

The third thing I want to share, also to create accountability for myself is my intend to write a short post like this every day - to be productive and hopefully helpful.
