My First Blog within WA
Hi All,
It's been almost a month that I have joined WA. First of all I just wanted to say that this is an awesome community. I have learned so much about affiliate marketing in such a short time. There is lots of help within the community and the training videos are amazing so far I am very impressed. I am proud to say that my first website is up and running live on the internet. So far I have created 6 pages and 2 posts. My niche is on Health and Fitness for over 50 with my focus on weight loss. My struggle right now is finding ideas to write about. There is a lot of information here at WA I do get a bit overwhelmed at times but I try to take baby steps by following the lessons one at a time and completing the task, I find this very helpful. I almost completed lesson 2. Right now I'm sticking with the siterubix.com website and down the road when I'm more comfortable with everything and see how things go then I would like to purchase a .com domain. I still need to learn and practice with Wordpress I find it difficult to get the look I'm after. It could be the theme I'm using. I think with time and practice I'll get better working with Wordpress. I also struggle with finding free images to download when I find an image I like it has the websites watermark all over it and if I want that image then it's asking me to pay for it. My plans and goals within 3 months are to continue working on my website to make it better, creating more pages, posting content hopefully to get indexed in Google, put my application in as an Amazon Associate and find products to promote. I'm still not sure when I should put the application in with Amazon. Within 6 months my plans and goals are to get some sales.

Sounds like you're doing just fine. DOn't be in too big a hurry to join Amazon. It really helps to have your website together. Focus on helping others in the beginning. Share what you know and gain the trust of your audience. For ideas, well there are a lot of was to get ideas for your articles. It's covered in the training.
If you look under my profile, i have posted some training on the subject , myself. You're welcome to check it out, but if you're still doing the Certification course, you should stick to it with your blinders on, Don't jump around and don't skip ANYTHING.
Your goals are reachable. Just don't treat it like a race. If you don't have a sale in 6 months, move your deadline back and give yourself some slack.
