When setting up the website to sell affiliate products, how do you find forever cookie products to feature?
You need check programs terms and conditions, for example WA has a lifetime cookie duration.
I doubt if you will find many of those.
Let's step back a minute. Why are you thinking of products? A niche is not products and selling. It is helping people with their questions and problems with your niche idea.
What is it that you are passionate about? What is it that you know something about and have experience with that you could help others with?
Your website must be more than just products because then you would just be yet another shop among the millions already out there and Google would not rank your site high enough to be found.
A niche is an idea or interest you are very passionate about. You will be writing content and helping people with your niche idea so the more you know about it already the easier it is. And if you know of its problems and know how to solve them that is even better. Otherwise you can do research online.
The question is WHO would be your target audience rather than what product you would be selling and how long the cookie duration is. .
Got it! I think I was getting ahead of myself. My niche is canine nutrition and holistic remedies for common problems. Being a groomer for 15yrs, I've been sought out for advice on many pet problems.
I am very excited to share my knowledge and help pet parents.

don't think of your niche as products rather problem solving for a group of people....
then you are not restricted to one type of product...
but to find forever cookie products with an affiliate program you are looking for places that stock them with an affiliate program.. so lookngi for cookie cutters +affiliate program in google may turn up some useful sites...

Firstly as a niche is not a product vs a subject you would help people by giving them advice on an aspect, walk them through your journey and then promote products however relevant.
You ought to discuss an aspect of niche to a qualified group of people who would be your target audience (that could be beginners or another group you have in mind).
The more focused a niche website is starting out, the better chance it has to start having traction and traffic.
Please be aware you also need to create lots of content addressing issues related to your focused niche website.
