Success not coming along
I am writing this blog to hear what are other community members view. How long does it take to make sells with ones' niche.I feel like i have worked for long now with no conversions.
I am not sure whether my niche is not competitive or what could be happening.Sometimes i wake up and feel like i need to rest more because i feel not motivated. Though i want to stand strong i am still finding myself weak.
May be you could share something to lift my heart and spirit up.

I asked myself the same question the other daywhen it came to my niche site. Initially it bothered and demotivated me.
Then I said to myself, I am in it for the long run.I will do what is necessary.Once I know that I have done the best that I can, it's then out of my control.
I just have faith and know that a sale will happen when the time is right.
As Dave said, Hang in there, it will happen for you!
Cheers

Thans Roops,i now understand i am not alone.Let us keep on moving and the right time things will happen.
Hi Mwaniki.. I just read an awesome blog that was inspiring. maybe you should check it out. $0 to $10k In 3 Years
I'm sorry that you do not feel that you are achieving the success that you are working so hard for, but there is a solution to this temporary problem.
The answer to your question is not a straight forward answer as it really depends on a few things such as:
1. I know that you are burned out at the moment but are you excited at all about this niche regardless if you are making money in it or not? If not then you may want to consider something else that you are excited about regardless if it is making money or not.
2. Even though I believe that every niche can be monetized somehow if you are creative enough, some are easier to monetize more so than others. Does your niche have commercial appeal to any extent or is this niche regardless of the size full of motivated rapid buyers?
3. How much content are you pumping out on a weekly basis and is it laser targeted to attract buyers or people with problems that you have a solution for?
These are just a few things as I can go on and on! But let's start with the above questions.
Hello there,i am grateful for your response.i must say it is a niche that i have a passion for.Secondly it is within my practice so i am targeting people with certain problems and giving solutions. However, since i am still new and learning,i am not sure what i need to do to increase traffic which may be will lead to conversion.
I looked at your Palliative care site. Is this the site you are asking about? Lots of content. Are you monetizing that site? If so, I don't see any Call to Action. Is this just an informational site only?
Thanks Lynn for you comment. It is the one i am referring to.I think i have added some call to actions unless i missed the whole concept on this.
Can u point out where? If I can't find what you are offering, as far as a product or service.....then your readers cannot either. Are they supposed to just read your content and leave or are they supposed to click through to somewhere for a product or service? My point is I don't see how you are trying to make money? That is why I asked if this site is just strictly an informational type site with no monetization because that is what it seems like to me after reading several posts.
Oh. And I realize that with the topic of your site that you cannot be "salesy" or be too aggressive with monetizing. I just really can't find any affiliate links. Maybe they are there and are too subtle that I just passed over them or you don't have them on some of the posts. I did not read all the posts....just a few.
Not sure how I would encourage a Call to Action myself on the site given the emotional nature of the topic.
Another question would be......are your posts ranking for any of your keywords? Did you do keyword research to begin with? Are you actually getting any traffic from people searching for your topic? Obviously without visitors, you won't get conversions, even with the best call to action.
Hi Fidelis.
Like Lynn, I found it difficult to actually see how you were attempting to monetize the site, although I do see some affiliate links thrown in there.
It does seem like a tricky, very sensitive niche to monetize. If you build up enough traffic, perhaps adsense could be added to the posts/pages that are almost entirely informational.
Let's just take one example, the post titled Opioids Drugs Review; What are Opioids?
I see three affiliate links in that post, but nothing in the post that actually guides a reader towards purchasing what is linked to.
The first link for opioid goes to an Amazon link for AllerClear. Why? You didn't specifically recommend AllerClear in the post for anything.
The second link is with text that states "Learn more here" after you mention that some patients opt to use herbal supplements. That link takes me to an Amazon page selling Pure Turmeric Curcumin Extract.
How does this help your reader learn more about using herbal supplements to treat their pain?
The last link takes me to the Omron electroTHERAPY Pain Relief device at Amazon after text that states "For more options on how to manage pain without drugs, <
Again, you're not describing any benefits of what you're linking to and guiding your readers into a purchase. If you believe in this type of device, this is where you would create a page reviewing it and/or other similar devices and then guiding people to purchase them.
With this being such a sensitive topic and one that is personal to you, perhaps you need to think about what products, services, or resources readers who are going through what you went through could use. Whether it's products like the Omron device, books on how to get through it or help a loved one get through it, etc. Then you need to actually recommend those items.
Also, some of the page titles seem a bit odd to me with the way you're using the word review. Are you really writing reviews on different types of cancer?
I did a test run in December and had product conversions. But have not had any in January. I think the main thing is to remain authentic to your passion and continue sharing.
It is the same thing i will continue doing Grane,i am just looking forward for that day i will get a mail that i have earned something from my websites.I will the happiest person ever!
Yeppers, it can be frustrating...
My experience has been the following:
(1) A slow start (had some sales, coming in to the WA site but not many),
(2) Slow increase in sales monthly, with some jumps for individual sales, and
(3) Increasing sales, like a snowball building as it rolls down a hill, and
(4) Branching out into my own products and online busineses, which over time will add to my online income...
As with you, it can get frustrating, but conistency over time will see you achieve success!
Soooooo...Hang in there!! There is light at the end of the tunnel!!
Cheers!

Hi there,
I had a look at your niche sites and I have to say that they are really good and you have a lot of strong content in there! I'm curious to know how you are tracking your conversions, though.. like having your analytics set up as well as a place where you can track the clicks on your affiliate links.
I am not by any means an expert when it comes to generating success through my niche, as I haven't had any conversions either (technically I have one, but because I advocate my own product). What does keep me going are goals to get to those conversions. Maybe having some goals as stepping stones towards your conversion will help (i.e., increase my site traffic by writing 3 strong posts a week and share it to my social networks, increase pageviews by relating my content to posts with call to actions, etc.).
I do not believe that a niche cannot be competitive - as Kyle and Carson have said in the past, there are billions of people looking for things on the internet, you just have to harness those low-hanging fruit into your site, and things will continue to build from there.
Those conversions will happen sooner or later, but it will happen. Just keep putting time to creating your content and putting your content to good use. I believe you will have success here! Good luck!
Thanks Raphy for your input.I have google analytics installed .However i think i will keep on adding content as i wait for success to come my way.
I haven't had any success with my niche yet and I've had my website for about four months now. My niche is natural diabetic remedies. What is your niche? Sometimes it takes longer for people to succeed than others. Just try to hang in there. I'm sure you will have success soon.
Hi school,my niche is palliative care and its relation to man.I have been around for 6 months now.May be a need to wait a little longer
