Understanding Traffic.

Are you struggling to get traffic to your website?

I would assume that you are.

I have struggled with this concept for a few months.

Until I understand the 3 concepts that I will share with you.

So I will be sharing with you how traffic really works.

There are 3 types of traffic and understanding this will definitely change things for you as it did for me.

I will be sharing the 3 types of traffic that there is on the internet.

understanding this will change everything you know about traffic.

The traffic you own, Traffic you control, Traffic you don't own.

#1 Traffic You Own.

So first let's talk about traffic you own. If you are a beginner in the internet marketing world this might not be something you have in possession. but the traffic you own would be mainly your email list.

This is at number 1 mainly because you this is the traffic source that everyone in the internet space should have.

the traffic you own can be in other forms but the best concept of traffic you own is your email list.

Now you might be wondering how would that be traffic that I own? Simple.

If you have an email list of 1000 subscribers. You own that list of persons on your email list. So you decide what you want to market to that email list.

And remember this is your email list so unlike a youtube account where you can get banned overnight and all that fan base would be gone.

With your email list, you are in control of this list hence the reason it is considered traffic you own.

Also, you don't pay to market to your email list vs doing Google Adwords to get traffic.

So if you sent an offer to your email list and make a profit from that you keep 100% of everything you make from the offer.

I personally think that everyone that is looking to scale their business online should have an email list ( traffic you own).

#2 Traffic You Control

Ok so this is the traffic you pay for, Weather it is through Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads you name it.

The reason this is considered Traffic you control is because if you pay for Ads Through Google or Facebook etc. You will be telling the paid traffic source where you want that traffic to go.

Whether you want that traffic to be directed to a landing page or your blog post.

Now when handling traffic you Control the best option is to turn that traffic into traffic you own,

So your aim is to get those people on your email list.

Then further in the future, you will be spending less on Ads.

NOTE: The less you Spend on Ads the more Profit you will gain.

Your goal is to grow your email list (traffic you own) this will be much to get traffic for free in the future because you already have subscribers on your list that know who you are and want to interact with you or products that you offer to them.

#3 Traffic You Don't Own

This might be similar to the traffic you control but the difference is that you have no control over where those people go.

For example, if you rank high for a keyword in Google and someone clicks on your post and ends up on your blog you didn't direct that traffic to your blog so its traffic you don't own.

Now as I Mentioned earlier your goal is to turn all traffic into traffic you own this way you spend less on Ads and you control everything that this traffic interacts with from you.

So once someone comes to your website to read a blog post that you have that was rank in Google.

You want to provide as much Value as possible so that people will love the information you provide and want to subscribe to your email list Then this will become Traffic you Own.

CONCLUSION

Your Goal is to Grow your email list so that you can always get traffic for free with the control of what products you offer to this traffic source.

While ranking for Keywords organically might be free traffic its good to have but you don't control that traffic.

So your goal is to convert all traffic into traffic you own.

Hope this information helps you get more from your traffic on your website

Please leave comment below if you have any questions or if you don't understand the concept 100%.

I will be happy to provide further help for anyone that is having hard time getting traffic to their blog or getting that traffic to convert.
