Can anyone really be successful here, or is it too good to be true?
It’s true that every individual on this Earth desires to have some form of success, however, a lot of those people do not have the right push or mentality to be able to achieve it. The truth is that if you follow steps and have the persistence to actually be someone, then you are most likely going to be someone that is successful.
Every individual possesses their own way of determining what success is for them, it does not necessarily have to be something that involves financial status. Success can be seen as having a positive end result or acquiring something that you really longed for. So really, being the most wealth individual out there could be seen as being successful, but for a lot of people this isn't the case. As long as you aim and try the hardest that you can to be whatever you desire to be and you then achieve that endeavor, you are someone who is successful.
If you remember your first day of signing up for Wealthy Affiliate, then I’m sure that you remember sharing your goals with community. Personally for me, these goals are a part of me, and I always keep them stored somewhere so that I never forget them, because I know that when I actually achieve them, that I will definitely want to share with the community how I stuck to my goals and how they were my ultimate drive to keep moving forward. Your goals here at Wealthy Affiliate are good reminders of why you should never give up. Just imagine going through all of the training and then going back to realize that you never actually accomplished a goal after you have decided to quit, doesn't that kind of give you a dreadful sensation inside?
Have Patience. I know that this is rather redundant and that you hear people say this all the time here at Wealthy Affiliate, and frankly anywhere else in the world, but I understand why people say this all the time, it’s because people try to pace themselves too quickly and end up losing where they are. You are definitely not going to be successful in the first week or 2 of this program, and frankly anywhere else in the world either, because there are no such things as get rich quick programs. Usually the business’ that state that are probably the ones that are trying to take advantage of people by brainwashing them and taking their money and never actually helping them. In all honesty, it can take years for someone to really achieve their goals. This is ultimately why working hard in the beginning and seeing minimal results can be discouraging, but I know for a fact that if you continue that hard work, that it will definitely pay off a ton in the future.
It is really great to have high expectations and be realistic at the same time. I personally feel like there really isn't a point in having an easy to reach goal because you are sort of minimizing your capabilities. Also, on the other hand, reaching too high might end up discouraging you because you will fail miserably. I’m not saying that aiming too high is bad, but when you tell yourself that you are going to do something like “earn millions of dollars in your first month here” then you are definitely setting yourself up for failure, and are just making it a lot harder on yourself.
Here’s what I recommend. Try formulating a weekly strategy on how you are going to make your website more search engine friendly, or on how you are going to write your content. By sticking to a strategy, you now owe it to yourself to stick to that strategy for the week.
Try not to let the small things impede you on your way to success. There will be a ton of changes and stumbling blocks that you will have to face along the way, both big and small, but if you keep thinking about your goals, I know for a fact that you will be able to move forward. By taking the time to center yourself and devise a reasonable solution to your problems, you will be that much closer to being successful.
Stay positive guys. Once you become someone who only sees the negative, you draw closer and closer to giving up on yourself. In my opinion, the only real way for you to fail, is if you personally give up on your own self. "You are what you think you are.” Does that quote ring a bell to you? Believe in yourself, you are capable of accomplishing anything.Good luck guys :)
