I just got my very first PayPal account ever. I went to Paypal.com then chat. I asked alot of questions because I have to know alot of things before I can feel comfortable. She kept eggen me on to sign up but I wasn't ready until I got all the details. I asked how many types of accounts they have and she recommended the PayPal Standard but I went on my Ipad and looked it up and it looks like there are two for business accounts. I chose the standard like she recommended. She said she would help me every step of the way. When I was ready I started the procedure. One question wanted my business name but I haven't applied yet. She said its ok and I could use my name. The next thing that stumped me was when I put my occupation in there was nothing that matched so she said just choose business. I wanted to change the email I used and asked if I can an she said yes I can. After I was all finished my account came right up and she was gone. You only have 2 minutes to respond or you may be ousted off of chat. I went back on chat and got the same person. I had to get the details about the buttons and the links. I have the details for the buttons but not the links but I can go on chat again when I need them. I haven't been able to change my email yet. I will try later. I really like using chat with companies because I get to work at my own pace and could say goodby when I need a break and come back later and start a new chat. I hope this information will help someone. Always eager to help.

Yes, Paypal fulfills a need that not a lot of other companies can fill. I really like it.
I have learned to use live chat a lot when I'm online buying things. I have a hard time doing live chat here because I think and type too slowly. Techno-challenged Grandma at your service!
LOL!! Me too!! I was the first to ask for a computer at my job back in the 1990's until I resigned in 2000 and was in the beauty industry so didn't need a computer all these years, so i am really rusty. LOL!! but some things I remember after I relearn them. Like oh ya I did this many moons ago. HA!! Just learned how to put paypal on one of my sites. finally!! hip hip hooray!! PayPal is helpful. I, too, like chat. It's so much better because you can explain and get answers immediately.

Excellent news. I would agree with you Chat is a nice way to interact with a company. Most people are more polite when they are writing vs verbal communication, where you can see and hear non-verbal cues, which let you know how the person is really feeling. With chat, everyone is reduced to just the words. Which is much better.

Thanks Dhind1- for responding. I had a good experience until it came time to copy and paste my paypal button on to my site. when I righ"t click I keep getting "read aloud" instead of "copy" tried all night. will contact HP company tomorrow. thanks again have a nice evening.

Since I started using it only once that a particular company complained of receiving an erro message.
