As it pertains to online programs and marketing. I ask because some people, call it a scam when they do not make any money, but often these same people have given up to soon.

A scam as it pertains to online programs and marketing.
Is any promotion claiming things it cannot or will not deliver
Blatant outright promises they can not or will not keep.

A scam is not when someone did not make money with a program,
unless they took action and allowed time for successes and money
and did not have support and guidance needed and promised.

Thanks Ken - It's good to get other peoples thoughts on what a scam actually is. There seems to be lots of different interpretations of the word

Florence, I agree there seems to be a few. ;-)
I have been doing this IM for a while now and I
have seen many scams and attempted scams.
I could go no about this subject, there are
people who believe they are promoting a good
product totally unaware that it is a scam. and so much more.

The part that really bothers me is that these people do not seem to care who they hurt and ignorance is no excuse, so in my opinion they get what they deserve from people like us who do care, and will tell the internet community about them.

Yes Florence, you are right we keep sharing
the good and reporting the bad. They will always
be out there but we will help people have many
successes inspite of them. Because we care.

I believe a scam is a dishonest scheme that one gets taken for. To be cheated and tricked out of money or something of value is a scam.

Thanks for your reply, since we write about scams on our sites, I thought I should have some definition of the act of a "scam". Some people will call a program a scam, if they have not made any money with it, and most often, it is not the program, but a lack of understanding of how the program works.

I understand what you're saying. :)
