Christmas,,,,, to me, it is more of Pagan origin than Christian.

see, what Sheep owner back there in the oooolden years, will have their valuable livestock, out there at night . IN THE COLD SNOW, for their source of income to freeze to death.

And, My girl. Magda, "they" call her Mary, was heavy with child, at the time that Dictator caesar at the time, demand all to be taxed in their "home town". They had to be there in a hurry. The Roman legion was not too nice to non-law abiders.
The poor girl had to be there and there was no room in the "inn, (motels), in them days.
Guess what, no room , and the town was loaded with people, and her water broke,??


What could a young girl do, ?
The next best place to birth this child, A horse stable..

And "they" have us to believe that they used a "manger" because they were poor.

Poor people don't pay taxes. (back then)
So...
