The fifth rabbit hole
Perhaps next week, I need to add another rabbit hole: humanity and how we use and react to AI.
Are we shaved sheep, consumers of sweaters, fence jumpers, or just sleeping...
Yes… I think that is the missing rabbit hole.
We keep watching what AI can do:
AGI thinks.
Quantum calculates.
Robots act.
Local AI moves into the home.
But humanity reacts... and not as one tidy group.
Some are the shaved sheep, supplying the data, labour, attention and experience from which the wool is gathered.
Some are the sweater consumers, enjoying the finished product without asking where the wool came from.

Meanwhile, the Humans…
Not merely what is AI becoming?
But:
What are humans becoming around it?
What are we giving away?
What are we receiving?
Which fences do we accept... and who still remembers how to jump?
Because AI may provide the machinery, but humanity still supplies much of the wool, wears the sweaters, builds the fences... and occasionally falls asleep while counting the sheep. 😏🐑
