(Forgive this thread in french... I simply had to. A small English translation at the end... just for the essence of thoughts scroll down, enjoy.)
Cet adage bien connu de Descartes, cogito ergo sum, décrit bien notre condition humaine. Livrée à la dérive et sauvée par la pensée réflective.
Aujourd'hui j'ai choisi d'écrire en Français. La belle langue de Voltaire en espérant faire plaisir aux lecteurs français ou d'expression française. Bonjour!
Pour commencer, qui était Descartes?
Descartes était mathématicien, scientifique et philosophe.
Il est à l'origine de la géométrie analytique consolidant l'algèbre et la géométrie. Vivant au 17ème et serviteur des nations d'Orange, il fut l'initiateur de la pensée dite moderne.
Pensée cependant bien ancrée dans la réalité et non volatile et inexistentielle! Aujourd'hui il se distencierait de bien nombreuses thèses pseudo scientifiques sans fondement rationel et dictées par le fric.
Cela nous invite à nous pencher sur sa pensée
Influencé par les mathématiciens et penseurs grecs, Aristote en particulier, il était classique dans le sens noble du terme.
Instruit par les anciens, ajoutant sa propre réflexion et son propre génie à la tradition ancienne. Ancré dans le passé, vivant au présent et visionnant le futur. Car visionnaire il l'était!

Sa pensée scientifique et philosophique est largement connue. Sa réflexion théologique l'est beacoup moins.
Une pensée reflective sur la création en général et l'existence humaine en particulier.
Pour lui , l'existance humaine se singularise par la pensée.
Ratio en Latin, raison en Français, aujourd'hui la relation chiffrée entre deux nombres ou entités....
Pour DESCARTES, LA RAISON RAISONNANTE. Les lois de la nature et la réflexion humaine.
Aujourd'hui sans doute il ferait parti de ceux qui défendent flat earth en renversant la logique monologue de la science actuelle en dialogue constructif.
