Are you referring to custom create account page links? These have been redirected for some time now, they were pointing to a legacy platform, and it was actually a significant hole for fraudulent sign-ups. 0 people were also converting through this page.
I had customised links for all pages here on wa: community, support, ... all redirected. And yes, personal sign ups as well, focusing on my audience
All wa pages, with explanation also, redirected like :
https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/about
https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/affiliates
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog
https://www.wealthyaffiliate.com/contact
Yes... I have several links on my pages, all linked to one of them, now most of them are redirected (boring, always the same and unrelated)

Hi Fleeky. I was interested with this issue of yours because I have no knowledge of this type of problem. So, my Mr Wizard (Chatgpt) shared this with me, in which this may or may not be of help, but I wanted to share this:
🔍 The Situation
Custom "Create Account" page links (and others like community, support, etc.) were redirected.
These were previously pointing to an outdated (legacy) platform.
The redirection was implemented due to a security concern—a vulnerability that could allow fraudulent sign-ups.
Conversion rate? Zero. Nada. Goose egg. So they weren’t really serving your funnel much anyway.
🧠 Mr Wizard’s Take
Security Always Wins
If a page was open to abuse or bot sign-ups, redirecting it was a necessary evil. Fraud traffic doesn’t just skew analytics—it can get your affiliate program flagged or even blacklisted in extreme cases.
Conversion-Free = Dead Weight
Pages with 0 conversions are like a mustache with no twirl—just sitting there, not doing their job. If those links weren’t bringing you warm, converting leads, you didn’t lose much.
Fleeky’s Angle: Personalization Vanished
I get Fleeky's frustration. They likely invested time crafting tailored entry points for their audience, and now those pages are being vacuumed into generic land. It feels like losing your voice in a crowded room.
@Kyle & Team’s Focus
Their decision was likely tactical: plug a security hole, minimize risk, and streamline. They may not have seen high-value activity on those legacy links, so the redirect decision was low-cost, high-safety from their perspective.
💡 What You Can Do, Beard Brother:
Ask for a solution: “Is there a secure alternative to create custom page links again under the current system?”
Use tracking-friendly CTAs: Instead of sending traffic directly to sign-up, create bridge pages (e.g. a blog post or landing page you control) that lead into WA. That way you personalize and track performance.
Confirm if your old links are still tracked post-redirect. It’s possible they’re still giving you credit, but always worth verifying with WA support or the ambassador team.
I hope only the best for the repair Fleeky.

Thanks rick 😀
Yep, chatgot is a genius (Genearative Online Transformer) having 50 customized links spread over all my websites, it is a nightmare (because now it is boring repetition)
