Meditation For Success

Last Update: May 26, 2019

When I lived on Spruce Island I had a special place I liked to visit. I followed a hidden trail through the meadow to a spot where the trees grew in a park-like way, well-spaced and large.

I had a favorite tree there. It was the biggest tree in the area. Its branches grew to the ground. At the base, the tree limbs were spaced a distance apart, and there was one mossy place between two branches where I could sit with my back leaning against the tree and meditate.

I called this tree "Your Treeness" and regarded this spot as my church. If I had a problem or a question, I would go out to my special tree, sit between its branches, and ask for an answer. Sitting in the quiet forest, I often felt the answer come and enter my mind.

I sometime wrote out there, because the atmosphere was so calming. For this blog, I'm sharing with you part of one of my compositions from that time. It's a bit of information about the laws of the universe.

These laws are constant and unchanging. To gain the abundance we desire, we must do so in accordance with these laws, and there are several of them.

All religions teach us that there is an infinite source of supply, and abundance is actually our birthright. We just have to learn how to apply the laws in such a way that we gain our heart's desire.

One of these laws is the Law of Vibration and Attraction. The Law of Vibration tells us that everything in the universe is in a constant state of vibration. Nothing rests. The chair you are sitting on and even your computer itself is vibrating.

Thought is one form of vibration. It vibrates on a very high frequency, and is one of the most potent forms of energy. These thought waves are cosmic waves that penetrate all time and all space.

The Law of Attraction tells us that like attracts like. When these likes are brought together, they become one, just as two molecules of water will join when brought together.

Here is how we use this knowledge: Since like attracts like, we draw to us the things on which we focus, and to which we feed energy.

These things are vibrating in harmony with you. If you focus on the positive, you will get positive in return. If you focus on negative, you will get negative.

Now, what do you do with this information? You build a picture of your desires, become emotionally involved with that picture, and what you imagine will start to come your way.

Hang onto that idea in your mind and belief, and what you want begins to form. Then let go and let God.

One other universal law I'll tell you about now. It's called the Law of Gender. This law governs what we call creation. You are a co-creator of your reality.

According to the Law of Gender, all the success you want in life already exists. Remember that the Bible and other great religious books tell you there is one infinite source of supply.

Everything comes from and is made up of the same energy. Therefore, the good you desire is already in existence, even though it may be in a different form at present.

All you need to do is access it and manifest it. The law also tells you that everything has its gestation period. For example, we know it takes nine months to have a baby. We don't know, however, the gestation period for an idea to move into form.

Believe in your idea and have faith in it. Eventually your belief and faith will pay off and your thoughts will manifest themselves into reality.

You have everything you need for success. Just add in time to cover the gestation period, and watch your ideas bloom.

When we plant a seed, we must water it and tend to it. Our ideas and goals work the same way. They need time to sprout and grow. If we tend to them correctly and have faith that when the time is right they will sprout and grow, they will.
Love this post and love the Universal Laws. Thank you!

I'm so glad you liked it. I am watering my WA seed every day, but trying not to waterlog the poor thing. I think it's sprouted, but I am not going to dig it up and look. Time is needed.

I love this! I assume you know Abraham. I have been listening so much lately - daily - and meditating and my life is getting better and better and easier and easier every day.

Life is so much easier when you understand these laws and put the work in to change your vibration.

(I'm so glad you know what I'm saying because it's so hard to talk about this with most people. lol)

Yes, I am familiar with Abraham...even went to a live session in California at one time. Excellent help!

Any time you want to talk to someone who knows what you are talking about, just PM me, and we will discuss.

I've seen Abraham twice, and I want to go again when they come in October. i love listening to them. I am going to go have a listen now while I take my dog out. :)

I will certainly keep you in mind when I need to talk about vibrations, frequencies and LOA. lol

Very Interesting!

But there is the case of like electrical charges ++ or - - repelling each other, most definitely in violation of the Law of Attraction.

Negative charges and positive charges attract. This is not like attracting like.

There is also the Pauli Exclusion Principle, which in effect denies like 'spin' polarities of occupying the same quantum state within the same quantum system simultaneously.

I'm sure there are other exceptions and I am curious how those who favor the Law of Attraction deal with this significant deviations from it?

I think people go with what works for them. I have had some astonishing success with the Law of Attraction. I think folks have to get one principle down at a time, and see how it works in their lives.

Hi Fran, I'm not saying there's not something to it.

My question was very specific about scientific phenomena that counter this so-called law.

Personally I know of a more comprehensive and universal principle that encompasses & explains what appears to be the law of attraction (that cannot be refuted by such examples as positive charge repulsion, like magnetic pole repulsion and the Pauli exclusion principle).

How are electrical charges that repel each other in violation of Law of Attraction? They're completely different frequencies, and therefore would not be attracted to each other.

I don't know what what the Pauli Exclusion Principle is, but I do know that you can easily see that LOA exists by seeing what's coming into your own life and connecting your thoughts (and emotions) with what's manifested around you.

I know that I can (and do) deliberately create my own reality and I see evidence of it all the time. You can see evidence too if you just take a look. :)

Christina, electrical charges that repel each other, in this case, would be two electrons, for example, each of which have the same mass and electrical charge (and for purposes of this example, the same kinetic energy.)

The De Broglie wavelength of two electrons would be the same, that is, λ=h/p.

The inverse of the wavelength is the frequency of the particle and would therefore also be the same.

Contrary to what you have said, they could have exactly the same frequency at the same kinetic energy. There is no circumstance they would ever attract each other even at the same frequency.

This is picking nits, though.

I'm just curious if there is any science behind the law of attraction that refutes quantum physics and if anyone who talks about the law of attraction knows anything about the physical properties of the universe!

Your personal experience of the law of attraction is only relevant to you, I'm afraid, at least in a scientific context.

As I said (and you didn't address or express any curiosity about) I believe there is a higher principle that encompasses the law of attraction that is also immutable with reference to the charge of similar particles repelling each other.

Let me know if you are interested in learning more :) Marc

To be honest with you, I don't really care about the science because I see how it works in my own life, and that's all that I need to care about.

I don't understand the exact science behind gravity or electricity or computers, but I know they work, and I know I can use them to my advantage in my life. :)

Fair enough :) I am interested, though and, not afraid to defend my position with accuracy. I'm glad you shared your perspective! Marc

Also fair enough! Science is cool, don't get me wrong. I just don't feel like I need to know the ins and outs of everything. And I also don't feel the need to defend my position really because it doesn't matter. if you believe in LOA, great. If you don't, great.

I just think it's interesting that you believe so strongly in mindset and the importance of that. But WHY is it important if not to help raise your vibration (positive emotions) so that you can attract what you want into your life?

What purpose is a positive mindset if not for that?

- Christina

P.S. This is a fun discussion. Sorry Fran for taking over your thread. lol

This conversation got started between us because you felt some kind of need to chime in. Why chime in if not to defend or convince me of the rationality of the law of attraction?

Notice I haven't once denied there is something that seems to look like the LOA. I'm saying there is a more comprehensive explanation/ identifiable phenomenon we can make use of that supercedes and encompasses the LOA.

To clarify, what I see to be true is that mindset is critical for success. Now, you are suggesting that one aspect of success is positive vibrations, which attract similar vibrations, if I understand you correctly.

But merely attracting positive vibrations is not by any means the whole story of success. I've had too many years in sales to know that's not enough. If anything, correct mindset sets us up to succeed when there are difficult negative barriers to overcome.

So mindset is more relevant to success than the LOA.

Fundamentally, if the LOA is as pervasive as you say, one STILL must have the correct mindset to make use of it! :-)

Yes it is a fun conversation and useful, I intend to make use of it in my own blog / trainings as it is entirely possible Fran will grow tired of it here :)

Meditation is a new topic to me Fran. I have only read a few articles but enough to believe that mediation is uncommon here in the states but does offer benefits when applied in our lives.
Thanks for sharing, love your view of meditation your thoughts definitely add to my understanding.

Hi Fran, thank you for sharing your space and thoughts with us. I agree with so much you have to say, everything in it's own time, and we need to remember that we have to we have to wait for everything we have planted to grow, they have to be nurtured and then harvested. Time never stands still so your life is always in motion, either going down or up, your actions and beliefs will determine in which direction you are headed.
I have just come back from a walk around the farm, to clear my head and emotions, as we sadly lost our lovely 17 year old cat in tragic circumstances yesterday, nature and a walk was desperately on the cards this morning.
Have a great day,
Denise

Sometimes nature is the only thing that can absorb your pain and grief. So sorry to hear about your cat. I know how painful it can be for those of us left behind. My kitties have always been an important part of my life. Glad you were able to get out and walk.

Your spot must have been lovely Fran. I so miss having open land like that to just go sit in the trees or flowers and enjoy. Someday I will have that again. I just need to find smaller things to enjoy now. I never get to sit in a place like that since there is no wild land nearby. When we drive to go somewhere I get a few minutes but it seems there is always a time constraint.

I keep focusing on the future I dream of. Thanks for the reminder.

Thank you so much, Fran, this is a beautiful and meaningful post. So agree with you, and the gestation time often gets forgotten!

Concerning the tree, have you read this wonderful book?

"The Hidden Life of Trees" from Peter Wohlleben

I have just finished it and love it so much.

Looking forward to reading your next posts,

Kindly,

What a great post. I think this is so far the most encouraging post I've ever read here in WA - Exactly what I needed to read right inside here. e

A blessed Sunday to you and to your church.

Thank you very much for this post.

Well, thank you so much. It is encouraging for me to think about as well, because if we just put our focus and belief in the right place, once germination time is reached, we'll grow our success.

Absolutely love this! <3 I had a spot in Alabama when I lived in the woods similar to your spot, the trees were bent like arches and they circled a clearing, it was a magical and spiritual place for me as well. You covered the Law of Attraction very well, words like these are how you should write your blogs. With knowing, sincerity, and bliss. Those posts are the ones that will be successful. Beautiful words, Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, Sara! Glad you liked the post. Yes, I had favorite spots in the woods. One was a little circle of trees that grew next to the trail. I first found the spot when the trees were saplings. Now they are bigger, but still the same. If you push your way into that circle of trees, you find yourself in a small circular clearing. There is a downed log on one side, conveniently. I used to sit there and imagine a fire in the center of the clearing, where I would throw all the garbage in my mind that I wanted to get rid of. It was another sweet spot for me.

Currently listening to music that has been remixed, scaled and pitch shifted to 432Hz, which, by all accounts is the 'sweet spot' in relation to the universe and stuff. Bizarrely, although familiar with the aforementioned laws and the corresponding relationship with wavelength and frequency, I was previously unaware of the 432Hz and all the good things that come with it. I just like the music.
Thank you this post Fran and the gift of some beautiful memories.
