I'm working on a post that is a brief tutorial and in it I refer to many different products, all of which are squarely in my niche and all of which I could provide an affiliate

In course 3, lesson 3 Kyle mentions about 2-4, maybe 5 affiliate links throughout your posts, depending on how long the content it.

You can try this seo site checkup tool that Kleblanc listed here:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kleblanc13/blog/seo-site-checkup
It gives a lot of information but says that you should have between 2 and 4 % ratio of content to links, if I 'm reading it correctly.

Went to Jaaxy, searched "best men's moisturizer". Jaaxy gave a green light to the keywords "best face moisturizer" (QSR 186, SEO 87, almost 5,000 searches per month). Then, I

Excellent questions ... the whole keyword thing is tough ... but patience is key! Give it a little time.

That is a good keyword... have u checked the competition tab to see what companies have websites ranking and how long ago did u publish your post? Sometimes it takes awhile for it to index and start ranking. Also if your top ranking websites are big name sites like say... target, walmart you might have a hard time ranking or beating those out of position.

thanks, ckepley. the post is very recent, so i'll give it some time. i am glad to know that i'm at least doing the keyword analysis correctly. thanks for your feedback.

If I perform a keyword search using the Keyword Tool at WA, and there are NO results in Google, is that a good thing, or a bad thing? Here's the scenario: I typed in "best ho

I get results for that term so you must have just had a glitch in the matrix.
Searches are 260 and competition is 127. Nice term. I would use that one.

I just checked the keyword best hockey equipment on google and the WA keyword tool and got results. It sounds like you've come across some "low hanging fruit" which is a great way to build content in your niche. It also helps Google ranking. I used that method and in less than a month I got page 1 ranking #2 other 3 for my niche. And I didn't know jack about this business before I began.

thanks, simonjagger -- that's exactly what i was hoping (the "low-hanging fruit") i'm slo glad to know that newbies like me have a chance at this game. thanks again for your input.

My pleasure. All I did was do all the lessons and ask questions. Everything you need to be successful is right here.W A is the best. Feel free to see what I've done so far http://crosswellnessrecovery.com.

Are you referring to the qsr or quality search result?
If so there was another post I read that was similar in question and no one really knew for sure. I would say use it on a post but not for a url.

Thanks, ckepley. I'm not using Jaaxy, so there is not "QSR" per se. But the keyword generated by the WA Tool is "hockey equipment online" and when I click Results under the Competition tab, it shows me the Google search, which shows "no results."

Okay I would try it on a post maybe but for url no.
Ive done some research on keywords like that and run then through jaaxy to compare and they have been no good for ranking.

Maybe go to google and type it with quotes around it too. If the number below it reads 60,000 or less that usually can be a good keyword. Just make sure the top ranking websites arent names like nike or under armor otherwise u will have a tough time beating them out of their position.

a Google search with the quotes, as you suggested, resulted in 15k results. I don't know what to make of it. Clearly, my understanding of keywords is equal to my 8 year old daughter...
