My progress so far on the Wealthy Affiliate Training Modules

Whilst I started with a dream, it is becoming a reality, I have not progressed as far as I want within the training program, unfortunately, life gets in the way, things happen, and we all get side-tracked.

I do feel however, that I have worked through the training modules (strictly) following and not jumping around, I have even gone back to revise areas and to re-understand what I was required to do, I have found it handy taking notes (in my own language) to assist in understanding the process.

I resonated most with the training module “The Customer Purchase” phases, as this is what I did prior to becoming a free and then premium member for Wealthy Affiliate, I did the research on is this a scam, what are the benefits, and should I trust this organization. I am pleased to say that I read an article about WA affiliate program which was written by “yes” you guessed it LOL – a person promoting WA and getting a commission, but this person wrote the downside and then the upside, stating that WA teaches you how to promote just about any product or service and this article was what got me interested in the first place.

My niche market

My niche market is sailing, and yes, it is a broad subject, but I am narrowing it down to people who are moving from the land of riches to the sea of plenty. My journey is to provide you with a wealth of information, about living aboard a sailboat, sailing books, tips for beginners, on-line sailing sites, sailing holidays and charters, including bare boat sailing in Australia.

Successes

WOW I feel that I have succeed just by joining Wealthy Affiliates and getting such interesting and in-depth training which explained everything you need to do when setting up an on-line business. I am also very proud of myself for the content that I have put towards my website although I did make one mistake by not buying my domain site through WA, instead I brought it through another provider and now have to wait 60 days before I can transfer it – lesson learnt. Next step is getting the website published and getting some reviews done via WA to see what can be improved.

3 Month Plan

To have the website up and running, with affiliate links embedded into the site to draw traffic in.

6 Month Plan

To start getting a passive income from the website (I don’t need thousands) now, I am happy with what trickles in, whilst I continue to build my brand and become more successful.
