My Journey So Far
I am really enjoying being a part of WA as I have learnt so much. I am taking my time working through the training which I am enjoying but I like to take a break in between writing content as I really do not like it, I do manage to get content for my website but it takes a while. I dont know about anybody else but writing one post can take me about 2/3 weeks simply because I have to do it in stages for it to be effective. The part I really enjoy is going through the pictures to add to and format the website. Me personally I dont like reading through a load of content online I find it really difficult and it takes up so much time.
My website is foodgenious.com and the niche is Meal Services at Your Door. I thought this would be a good niche as I started WA around lockdown and all the restaurants were closed, so I thought this would be a good niche to talk about.
The other reason was that I like to cook for family and friends which I do quite alot but I think for me what really felt good about cooking for everyone was that they loved my food and always suggested that I should start my own take away service where I would have to do all the cooking myself. I said yes but not yet as it would take up all my time at the moment and not make my million but I would consider it in the future, so instead I decided to talk about the meal services that we have already and apply to the affiliate companies regarding my niche.
When I am not on WA I am creating designs for t-shirts to put in my t-shirt shop - https://shop.spreadshirt.co.uk/fiograi please feel free to browse and see if there is anything you fancy :) I also sell clothes on vinted where I advertise my website and my t-shirt shop. I really enjoy doing these other online businesses as I am always having to be creative visually with the t-shirts and selling the clothes I get really good comments and have to interact with customers in order to send the items.
My image is what I keep telling myself and that is one of my t-shirt designs which I wear to remind myself of what I want to achieve by 01.01.2022!
Remember Dream, Believe and Receive :)

Wishing you well on your journey
Hello Fiona
Thank you for sharing your journey with us
I love the way you detail your journey
It is natural not to want to write a lot but practice does become perfect.
Just a suggestion. You don't have to only write content for your website.
Google also a variety of content
You can use videos, tables, and graphs as well
You can share YouTube video as long as there is a share button
The free Invideo.com website will help you to create videos with or without your voice.
Have a look at it to get ideas
Hey Fiona - awesome to hear that you are taking action and generating content for your website. When you get started it can definitely take you some time to create content. That is just part of the Journey and you will absolutely get faster at it.
Planning out your articles is one technique that will really help.
Choose the topic
Find a few keywords to target
Setup 5-6 headings for the article
Write point form ideas for each section
Then sit down and write the content
If you plan out your articles like this then you will exponentially improve the time it takes to write them.
You could try setting up a schedule for yourself, maybe planning on a Sunday/Monday, Structuring the Article on Tuesday/Wednesday, Then writing it Thursday/Friday for a publication on that Friday or Sat. That schedule would get you to one article a week to start. Over time you'll get to a point where you can research and write an article in a couple of hours. Just takes a bit of practice when you're just getting started.

Hey Fiona take it from me. I used to take several days to write a post. Now I can't believe that I am almost 120 posts 8 months today. Practice will certainly help you turnover faster along with finding unique ways to bring our your personality and content.
Have you ever tried print on demand?
Hi Hugh
Thank you for advice, no I have never tried print on demand, what is that? :)
Basically, you make a design, send it to a platform like Teespring or Redbubble, they advertise for you and if someone buys they will ship the printed item to the buyer (teeshirt, cap, mug etc). No inventory, marketing or having to deal with logistics on your end. That's the very short version but if you are interested Greg dives deep on the subject as seen in the attached (just type in the link)
Let me know if this was useful
Hugh
PS Remember there are many rabbit holes you can go down. Ensure though that you stick with the training even if you go a little off track from time to time.
Yes I know about Teespring and Redbubble, that is what spreadshirt do with my designs, I have my designs on t-shirts, mugs and bags, I create my designs on adobe illustrator and upload on the items spreadshirt have available. Check out my link and see the products in my shop, at the moment I am still learning on adobe but when I get a bit better I will be checking out Teespring and Redbubble :)
