Question for stay at home parents.
How do you structure your time so you can get some deep work done?
I find that I have no shortage of ideas, but I'm struggling
I am also a stay at home parent I am Retired military and I can relate. Although my kids are now 11 and 15 I can remember when they were young.
I find the best time is early in the morning, if they are up then you need to find them something to do. Don't wait until you can sit behind the computer to write down your ideas, get a note pad and write them down as you go along your day.
Commit to as many hours as you can a day. If it can't be continues that is OK.
Don't lose hope, just take an hour here and an hour there, before you know it ,you will have put in 6 hours a day.
So plan it out and attack, if that doesn't work come up with something new, you can do it!
Never Give Up!
Never Surrender!
@cybergrunt thank you so much for your response, definitely not giving up but it is stretching for sure!
I may need to sleep early and get up early a few times a week maybe? Just so I work while still fresh.
And I am jotting down notes as I go about my day.
Thanks once more!

In my case, that happens to me also, by the time I finished my daily chores, my battery needs to recharge. Since I am in my own domain and I control my schedule, I take a nap and do my online activities after. That' the beauty of having an online job.
For sure!
