So I have just received this email and though it says I should not be upset, I am.
Hi O,

This was my post
Hi Todd,
Thanks so much for this article. I just joined Pinterest recently and was wondering if it will work for promoting my website. I did not even think I could use it to promote a book I wrote a few years ago until I read your post. Also thanks for the "Teaser" strategy, I will surely apply it and your other suggestions.
Reason for disapproval
The following reason was noted as the reason for this happening.
"Not doing any more approvals for the 'Thanks for post' in the opening sequences. Too much redundancy."
Note from WA
This can happen on occasion and when it does, you shouldn't be too upset by it. Rather you should consider the reason why it was disapproved and make the appropriate changes to the way you comment moving forward.
Why I am upset
It takes time to read an article and this was one I was really interested in. Is there something wrong with thanking someone for their article? I really want to know if saying thank you is redundant.
Also I am not here to waste time, I am very serious with what I am doing here.

Seems to me that projecting gratitude is no longer recognised as good manners/
A real pity
Wow, I am learning something new everyday. I mainly always thank the person, then go into my comment as a norm. I never thought this could be looked at as spam. Something to think about!
Thanking is fine. It's just that in WA, it's overly effusive...almost all of them. Look at regular websites and you see a variety not just
"thank you for a wonderful post, you have provided such useful information and given me a lot to think about. No doubt a lot of people will be helped by your hard work.....etc. etc...."
Extremely vague, nothing specific and just gushing praise which seems like a canned comment.

It's one of the reasons I am so careful when I go to SiteContent. Whatever is approved or disapproved is at the whim of the owner.
So you spend sometimes 20 minutes reading a post and 5 minutes or more commenting just to have it disapproved for what I consider unreasonable reasons.
