How to Beat Writer's Block
You've been through it already, haven't you? That feeling when you just can't for the life of you write content because your brain feels like it's stuck?
Yeah, there's a fancy word for that. It's called writer's block.
It's a common issue we writers have to deal with every now and then. It can be frustrating when it happens because it delays your editorial calendar. But I found a solution to it and its been working wonders for me lately.
I thought I'd share it with my WA family.
So, here's what I do:
1. Multi-vitamins + ginkgo biloba.
Ginkgo Biloba is a supplement that can be found at your local retailer's vitamin section. It helps improve focus and healthy brain function. I started taking it by itself at first but it wasn't working all that well for me.
That is until I started taking it alongside a multi-vitamin. I've been able to focus and write more fluently ever since without feeling stuck. I've been taking it for two weeks and so far no side effect and no unpleasant experiences to report.
2. Writing down keywords
By keywords, I mean keywords that will remind you of that which you are trying to write about, not the keywords you're targeting for SEO.
For example, let's say I'm doing a product review on an eco-friendly vehicle. The keywords I would write down to help me stay on topic would be: eco-friendliness, faster than other hybrids, spacious, etc.
Anything that you wish to focus on, write it down. I've been putting this into practice and its been helping me stay on track with my writing. Sometimes we forget those small details that we want to focus on. This will help refresh your memory :)
Anyway, I tried to keep it as brief as I could. I hope this helps you all as much as its been helping me fight off writer's block.
Happy blogging!

Not keywords, rather small notes to keep you on track. I just call them keywords, as well.
