Some Really Good Questions For YouTo Foucs On

Your wheels are spinning but you feel that you are not getting any traction or achieving anything. We are probably picking up so much knowledge, more than you realize. In fact we are probably quickly shifting into an elite group without even realizing it. That group of marketers that have a knowledge base and resources behind them. So glad I arrived at the doors of Wealthy Affiliate.

Pat yourselves on the back and do a little happy dance.

Ah the questions, some are a work in progress for me, one of the empowering factors can be to have them firmly stuck on your radar they certainly help me to keep focused.

  • where is your website that you are working on, with all that regular content that is being posted to it?.
  • where is your Facebook group?
  • Where are your squeeze pages and the adds your using to drive traffic to them?
  • what is the product that you are selling or promoting as the case maybe?
  • Where is your you tube channel at?
  • Where are the groups, forums, communities that are related to your niche that you have joined and actively participate in?
  • How and where do you measure and record your performance?

My report card is not looking so good this week, in fact there are a few D-'s and E's in the mix. One of the things that I try and do is not to beat myself up when I don't come up to scratch. Running with the theory that being aware about my short comings gives me the scope to do something about it.

Problems arise when I crash on blissfully unaware.So if you see me falling off the perch tap me on the shoulder please I will thank you for it.

How do you roll with your online engaement I would love to hear some of the ways that you keep focused on the job at hand.

Thank you so much

Alexander

Thanks for the questions Alex, and to be honest I'm feeling as if I've gone off track a bit over the past 2 weeks, it's election year here in New Zealand and I have a major role to play within the Party I support.

So, I've made a decision for the next 7 months, starting next week I will focus on making sure I write at least one blog per week for my site; create a new product every month; login to WA at least once a week to blog, comment on other members blogs and reply to messages etc. I will continue with my social media strategy as I've pre-written many posts and tweets already.

I'll be sure to stop in every week to see how you're doing :-)

Having a specific routine like you're talking about is like having tracks to keep the train moving forward. It's so important.

I like the sound of that.

I'm trying to clean out a lot of clutter and create a set of routines like you are talking about.

* morning routines / tasks ( daily )
* weekly
* monthly

Hi, Kyle sounds like you are well on track sorry about the pun. IM can be a self-absorbing and lonely occupation moving forward I am starting to see absolute value in creating routines. thanks for sharing your thoughts a real take home for me.

Nice pun! lol
Thanks for the comment, Alexander!!

That sounds very interesting Gaylene, all the best as you fulfill your role in the election campaign. that will be a challenge for you.
Looks like you are doing very well with your social media engagemnet so it will be good to keep going. sometimes we do have to stand back it still works very well if we have a plan and strategy to manage our time in creating our online presence. The very best wishes to you and I hope that you keep going.

Thanks Alex, much appreciated :-)

You've do very well Gaylene they are very lucky to have you helping..

It's a back and forth process for me Alexander between lessons, community participation, and working on my business site. It was confusing at first but I managed to come up with a system that balances it all out. Of course there is always tweaking that has to be done to account for the unknowns. The bottom line for me is to not rush things. Thanks for the post.
Jerome

Hi, Jerome, I like your processes, it definitely is an ebb and flow process. it is about finding our own levels and finding our balance. thanks so much for sharing your insight I relly appreciate you point of view.

Still some long steps to climb. One step at a time will move us closer. Thank you.

Hi John a conservative approach based on personal observations, we all need to find our way in the online world. So true one step at a time will move us closer to our goals.

Thank you you have mad me understand that I got a lot of work to do thanks again Peace

Hi, Frank don't panic it is not a race sometimes it is good just to sit down and work out the best way we can move things forward. It will all come together even just doing a little bit each day consistently.

Thank you for your genial wisdom
Because I like to see results now but
I just need to keep taking it one step
At a time which I will do thanks again Peace

You will be surprised Frank you will pick up momentum taking some action every day will speed up the process

Well put. Constantly monitoring and analyzing is critical. We don't want to get complacent.

Well said Kyle it is so easy to do that drop the ball and the race still goes on without you always focus on our end game and fixate on what needs to be achieved today thank you for commenting

Thanks for sharing, Alexander.

Hi Rodger good to see you hoipe all is well in your word thinking about you. You are most welcome thank you for reading hope that it helps in some way.

Good self-evaluation questions to help stay focused on building a quality site. Great post, Alexander!

Hi Audrey, it does have its advantages, I for one need to stay on track I am staying the course, but there are so many opportunities out there I will have to live to 1000, what's more it is so much fun, Thank you for commenting and for your kind words.

Yes, you do have to take inventory every once in a while just so you are not surprised very often.

If anyone is just getting started, they think that all of that will come with time, but, if it is not started on, right now, it might never be.

Well said Mickey, at the beginning we can be unaware where the journey is leading us and the old saying a little knowledge can be dangerous rings out loud and clear.
Sometimes doing that stock take around some basics can not only keep it real but also give us real clarity thank you for your comment really appreciate it.

yes some really good questions because in the beginning you really dont know where your next step is

Hi Lawrence good to see you I hope that your WA experience ids going well, tell me about that one it can be a constant struggle even when you get going you can bite off more than you can chew so to speak. slowing it down and focusing on some basics can work wonders and keep us focused at the same time. Thank you for commenting my friend.

your right about slow ing it down and think first it is not a race

Great questions indeed, Alexander! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Rebecca it is good to look at what we are trying to in a short form some folks may have a more complex way of doing things simple seems to work thank you for stopping by. You are very welcome.
