While I was away
While I was Away:
So not much here has changed since I went away. I had complications with my health mostly my kidney (healthy 100% again now.) While I was away I invested some time, effort and planning of my next move. I appreciate Wealthy affiliate for everything this platform has taught me and how I have improved my skills in WordPress and others. I decided that yeah the blogging is great but I wanted something that was more creative and could show in my work and life. I have always been a fan of animation and gaming, although I don't blog about these things. I have finally enrolled myself in an animation course and am busy learning game development. What motivated me to look so deep into this was my health. Why am I so stressed out trying to make things work, I have the skills and know how but what is missing?
This came down to I am doing things because it is more the survival rather than enjoyment. The time, effort and energy put into blogging comes to it being worthwhile but I needed a good creative outlet. I am never going to stop blogging as I have created some awesome audiences through it and I love telling those about that of which I know and was educated on. Then one night I had a dream, in my dream I was animated and in a world I have never seen before. I woke up at 3am and got onto my computer and was driven to find places I could do what I truly want to do. You see to my family of scientists I am the arty one while they don't get. I love to write, draw and do anything with a computer. Within a week I was enrolled in learning Maya and because of just one little small demo game I developed they finally have faith in my choice.
Life is never to late to find your passion and now a days there are a million places you can go to find your true passions. I love business, Youtube, working with websites/clients etc but I always feel like it is forced in my own mind. For those who want to learn animation or game design please check out Unity, Unreal gaming engine and Animation mentor. They have free courses as well as paid courses. I spent most of my sick time learning the platforms and I am quite surprised how easy and fun it is.
I want to motivate you today to follow your goals, dreams and reach for the things you are most passionate about.
