3 Months At Wealthy Affiliate: More Content, Social Media, & Another (Black Friday) Commission!

{I post bi-weekly updates on how I've been doing and what I'm up to lately. This method works best for me to share my progress with the community. I'm committed to prioritizing time on my niche website (as most of you should be doing as well). I am committed to long-term success, and I remain focused every day to accomplish my goals.}

Well, my fellow friends, it's been quite an adventure the last three months. I can’t believe it’s been over 90 days since I joined as a premium member, and I’ve learned so much in that timeframe. Though I’ve learned a lot about affiliate marketing, I realize there are challenges to overcome and much more to learn about ahead. But that won’t stop me from achieving my long term goals and the life I want. It takes time and effort to see the results you want. Three months is quite a sprint, but I know I can’t stop now. I’m going to stick with it and do my best each day.

More Content & Helper Activity (Now In The Top 500)

As mentioned in my last post, I keep writing superb content each week. I learned that this is one of the keys to success at WA- keep writing content on your niche sites to improve rankings on the search engines. If you don’t do this (or rarely come out with posts), don’t be surprised if you find yourself disappointed. So I’m committed to writing more content on my niche site.

Also, I remain an active helper in our community. I regularly give site feedback and leave comments for other members’ niche sites. By the way, I appreciate those of you who have left feedback on my website, along with your comments. I’m glad I’m getting suggestions for improving my site, and the positive feedback on the content I’m doing. It’s what keeps me going and stay motivated. I will continue to offer the same for those who need site feedback and comments. I’m glad to be of great assistance, now that my ranking went from around 2500 to a little below 500 last week.

Social Media (My “Love-Hate” Relationship)

I’m currently going through level 4 of the OEC training. Using social media to promote my niche site is fun, but it’s quite a bit of work. Sometimes, I love using social media. Still, then moments later, I may get annoyed by navigating through my social media accounts. As Kyle points out in training, it’s much more essential to use social media for promoting a business than just “hanging out.” I follow this tip because I find social media to be distracting and an excellent way to waste time. So I'm mindful of how I use social media because it’s vital for long-term success. But other than that, I’ve learned a few things here and there of utilizing social media effectively.

Another WA Referral + Commission!

Lastly, I can’t finish off without saying I made another commission this past weekend! Like many of you, I promoted WA’s Black Friday offer throughout the weekend. I expected to get no commissions at all, but I ended up getting one, after all. At least getting one commission is better than none, and it shows that WA (making income online) works by putting time and effort into achieving that result. I was pleased to see this, and I’m going to keep working on the path to multiple commissions down the road.

Below is a snapshot of my first WA commission that went into my Paypal account at the beginning of the month. We can all agree we love seeing these things happen (or, as some pointed out, look forward to waking up to see that more often)

I’m pleased to see the progress I made at this point. There so much more to do moving forward, and I’m ready to tackle that work. We’re in the final month of 2019, and I want to finish on a positive note. I enjoy seeing the progress and all of the updates on WA. I wish all of you the best on your journeys here, and that you finish out the year strong.
