Lottery, Luck and Winning

So are you saying that wishing somebody at WA good luck on their journey to success is inappropriate? Did lottery winners work and plan how to win the lottery, or was it down to luck?
No that's the point those that play the lottery don't prepare, they put all their hopes in that winning ticket. I would not wish them good luck, because in my opinion you create your own luck by being preparing for what ever it is you want to do. Yes. I believe you have hit this squarely on the nail. Like you I don't believe in luck, luck actually can suck the life right out of you because as you have so well said, one who is ill-prepared refuses to hold himself accountable and to take action. Yup, you got his Graylin.
Oh, and by the way, I am enjoying your writing style!

The best definition I recall hearing on luck is pretty simple. It is the intersection of opportunity and preparedness. In other words we continue to sharpen our knives so we are ready when the time comes......Dick

I do not think that is how it is for everyone, there are some people who actually keep track of numbers drawn and calculate their chances or winning, there are some who perhaps feel their lives can only be change by a bit of good fortune and the low cost chance is worth a try,, like most things in life some seem to do well and others no matter how hard they try they never seem to get the desired result.
