I'm back!
I joined Wealthy Affiliate about 8 months ago and for one reason or another, I stopped coming to the website. Looking back, I have always been the type of person who gets really excited about something, spends endless amounts of time learning and practicing in the first couple of weeks, then slowly burns out. To illustrate what I mean: I've started about 10 different Udemy/Udacity/Coursera courses ranging from Front-End Web Development to Arduino Programming to Personal Finance to even Affiliate Marketing!
Here's the thing though - I always go back to those courses after a hiatus. It's because of this fact that I know that those topics were not just whimsical curiosities that I had a one point - they were genuine interests.
So, now I'm back here at Wealthy Affiliate, ready to dive right back into the training and hopefully, this time, go at a moderate pace. Learning takes time to sink in, and hopefully reviewing everything a second time will help me pick up on things that I missed when I was plowing through the material before.
I'm excited to be back, and I'm doubly excited about the new website design and interface! Updates like this reminds me that Wealthy Affiliate is a genuine platform dedicated to providing the best services, training and education to all its members. I'm back, and hopefully this time, for good. Hope to meet you all along the way :)

Hi Erika! Welcome back!
I have just joined WA and I know what you mean about completely going crazy with wanting to learn new things. For me this is buying books :D I am reading 3-4 at the same time, while being enrolled in 2 courses now. WA and Elite Blog Academy. Plus having a few pinterest courses sitting there waiting for me to do a proper review. Oh well!
The interface of the platform here on WA looks amazing indeed. I think it makes interaction much easier, than for example on facebook. But that is just a personal preference...
Haha! Udemy course mania! Actually there is an awesome course on it, about "how to create a course on Udemy". By Alun Hill, he is really good. The info is not just about Udemy, but about content creation in general.
Switching from consumer to producer is the next step for me. And WA seems such a lovely place place to start!
Looking forward to see your story enfold & wish you much success on your journey!!
Benita
PS: My favourite sentence at the moment: "Just start with consistency, don't worry about perfection yet"
Haha yeah it feels like quicksand when you get caught in the web of free online courses. There's just so much to learn!
And thank you for that quote - I'd never heard it before, but it makes so much sense.
I completely relate to what you have said too. The best advice I have had is just to concentrate on one project - get that right and the rest will be easier.
Best wishes to you.
Tim
I share the same chaos energy. Getting excited, get distracted, launching multiple projects... and they failed miserably.
The same disruptive pattern stuck for years, until recently that I decided to try something that I've never done before.
Focus, and build a wall against all distractions. That is when positive results started showing, especially on WA.
All the best to you.

Wonderful to have you back and I am glad you like the new interface. A lot of thought went into this update and I think you are really going to love your experience moving forward within the new UX.
As you step back into the training, do let us know if you need a hand with anything at all. You have a community of support, coaching, and help to lean on every step of the way!
Thanks for all the support Kyle! :)
