First Post!
In less than a month I have learned how to set up my WordPress website, transfer it from a SiteRubix domain within WA to my own purchased domain, create a Google + Account, and create and post my own pages within my website.
My biggest challenge so far has been deciding on whether to pick a specific niche or to write about a variety of interests. It seems like the training here really pushes for everyone to lock into one specific and narrow interest to write about. Anyways, I find it difficult to write about the same specific topic every single post.
The second biggest challenge is welcoming social media and setting up social accounts. I am a pretty private person and prior to setting up an account with WA I didn't even have a Facebook page. I can't really say I do now (the account is set up, but it is still a blank canvas).
In the next few months I am really looking forward to getting over my social funk and growing. I hope to expand with my social media accounts, web page, and personal outlook for the online community. I do need to work on making a decent income, but this is really a chance to come out of my shell and grow and learn.

Congratulations for your first WA post, looks like you are going fine. It can take time to get your head around social media, it is in our cases just another tool in the tool box.
Well my website is based on sharing ideas and comments on everyday experiences. I'm not really sure what "niche" that would be, but I find that there are a lot of things that pull my interests (as well as others), and I'd like to grow a relationship with the people that visit the site.
Originally I had picked cloth diapering and I quickly changed my mind. I thought really I was just going to have short lived visitors and constantly looking for new traffic. So I'd like to maybe share a variety of everyday things that people like me are looking for. Recipes, reviews, opinion blogs, etc.

I am with you about the social funk. I have never been a public person so I have the same "in my shell" tendencies that you do. Welcome to WA and let's both work on shedding that shell.
