Another Day In Paradise
Each day begins with choices. What to wear. What to pack for lunch. Should I pack a lunch? A million little choices.
Over the years, as a natural "Type A" guy, I've always begun my day by first fixing my attention on the day's business: appointments, reports due, employees to hire/fire. I've done it for decades. "Fail to plan = plan to fail"... right?
This year, however, I've been noticing OTHER things when I start my day. The smell of the ocean air, the beautiful sunrise, seagulls soaring, the happy tail wagging at the back door, a car that always starts (usually). Little blessings.
We can chose what to see each morning. I choose to see the joy!
