Has Anyone Brought an Existing Website Over to WA Hosting?

So I have another site that I'd like to move to WA hosting, but I have some questions for those in the know.

I had this site built through a separate party and it was using the Word Press platform. But some of the functionality in the dashboard is different than my other site through WA.

Mainly, my other site was built without my ability to add plugins because the builder did not want to take the risk of clients adding problematic plugins they would have to deal with.

But I want to be able to add all the plugins that WA recommends and teaches us to use.

So if I do transfer my other site to WA hosting, will the WP dashboard change so that I can do all the same things that I can with my current site?

Hopefully that makes sense and that someone will know. Thanks!

I transferred my domain and website to be hosted on WA. I had to do a back up on Word Press, which their people graciously did for me, so that my images and content were not lost. Once the domain transferred, which took a few days, I had to reinstall my theme, fix my menus and widgets, and then proceed with setting up my content. It's a labor of love but in the end it all worked out. You can check my website out to see how it now appears on WA. I only did this move a few weeks ago.

What if I have a weebly website both domain and host from them? How is that possible?

Can I move it to wA website ?

Have you raised a support ticket? I would try there, support should be able to provide the answer.

I am not really sure how to do this erashallbe.

I have another site I built on GoDaddy that I would like to move. I thought only the domain name could be brought over. If the entire site can be moved, I'd do that. I will have to find out how to make a csv file...

Yes I have tried this. It is possible and since your site is on Wordpress it is a pretty easy move. The problem I have found is getting the images to import into my new site here. I have searched for plugins to manage this but they must be purchased. I will try to get you more info once I am back on my computer at home but for now you should be able to export a csv file of your existing website and import that csv file onto your new site here. I hope that helps at least a little bit for now. I will try to add more later.
