Hey all,

Looking for user experience and feedback on any widget that I could use for a contact info form in the footer area of my website.

Thanks and God bless!

I recommend looking at the features of Sumome. It should provide the features you need.

Not a big fan of pop ups in my personal website experience and I am only looking for a contact info widget. Perhaps there is a way where I can type my own contact information into a widget?

If you are set on using a widget..Create a post that looks like what you want. Jump to the text window (upper right corner of the edit window) copy the code into a text widget.

Hey peeps, Wondering what cha

Here it is.

You would need to edit the header.php file, change alignment from "right" to center or middle, whichever works for your theme.

I solved it another way but this sounds easier. Thanks for the tip.

You are welcome, the change looks great!

Answered my own question. Simply type 900 between the quotations of the width code and that will perfectly center the banner add over top of your banner. #patselfonback

Wondering how and where to embed the code on one's personal website?

Do people normally only place the ads in the text of their articles or do they use the side bar real estate?

Usually it is a combination of the two ,the one in the text is always very relevant to your article , while in the sidebar those are relevant to your niche but not as relevant to your particular post.

I meant : not necessary as relevant to your particular post. But it can be.

If you are placing it within your article, copy the code, then open the text tab on your page (next to visual). paste it where you want it.

I'm going to give that a try. I like to use ads sparingly because I personally don't like reading articles where the content is broken up by ad code.

You got some great answers there. I am looking at share a sale.

Hi MacCurdy,

If you joined a affiliate program on Share A sale , you will see a button on the right to get links . Copy that link and paste in in your post ,just make sure to use text instead of visual in your editor, that should do the trick.

Hopes this helps,

Luc

Hmmmm, that's a hard question. I actually love Share A Sale. My only advice is to get the ShareASale Product Discovery Tool that incorporates with your browser. It saves you a whole lot of time getting your affiliate link. All you do is visit the affiliate site. Whatever page you are on, you just his the Button for the Product Discovery Tool in your browser and it will give you the affiliate link that you need. When you first open it up in your Favorites tool bar, you login. Then when you go to the affiliate site in question, whatever page you go on for a particular product, category, home page, etc... it will give you the affiliate link for your account. You don't have to bother going back and fourth to the ShareASale site. I've included a pic and circled the tab at the top.

Thanks for asking this question, Justin!

There are several social media plug-ins available for social media. Ultimate, as mentioned by @Feochadan is a good one to try.

I use Ultimate Social Media Icons. It also gives you the option to add a subscribe box so that people can get e-mail notifications each time you publish a blog post

Just found social buttons, which I will try out for a bit. I may come back to try out your suggestion. Thanks!
