At this Point on my Journey
I am closing in on my 25th blog post in loveafterlaw.com. I sometimes have difficulty working up the gumption to write, and I sometimes struggle with what to write about, but I seem to have begun to amass a good portfolio of content on a solid platform. My biggest concern remains getting traffic.
Although I am signed up for AdSense, I have yet to see any ads posted on my page. I don’t think I’ve omitted any step, and according to Google I am good to go, so I’m not sure what might be wrong. Perhaps one or more of you could give me some insight.
However, my priority right now remains driving traffic to my site. This is a mixed bag. Some days it’s several hundred. Some days several tens. I have obtained readers from Russia, the UK, Canada , India and Malaysia. I realize that the traffic might come several months from now, and it may be brought to the site based on what I’m doing now, so I try not to get discouraged by low numbers of readers and instead simply keep writing about things I find interesting, relevant and topical. I believe there will be a payoff, but I think it will come manny months from now, when I least expect it, and based on content I would never have connected it with.

Yes it takes time but there are things you can do to speed it up. If adsense is not displaying then there is something wrong somewhere. Maybe in the code you added.
In my book content is king and it sounds like you are working on that so you will see people coming more and more. Then one day it is like a gate opens and they come in bunches. Keep at it.
