Yes it finally happened! Today when I saw an email from amazon associates, my heart sank a little because I thought to myself, ‘amazon just rejected me again’. I say again because have been rejected once before for failing to generate referrals, but because I wasn't going to take no for an answer, I reapplied but I still didn't manage to generate any leads. So imagine my surprise when I read the email and found out that my account had been approved. This could only mean one thing...

And so excited and screaming all over the house I logged into my associate account and oh my! My first amazon sale! Been a long time coming and you know what the best part is? It was totally unexpected and couldn’t have come at a better time.

You see, for over a month, I have not posted anything on the said website and it's not because of writer block or because I couldn’t find the time. I just didn't feel like working on the website. I know, I know...not how a person who is serious about making money online is supposed to behave.

The things is, I’ve been feeling quite demotivated with my first website due to a number of reasons so I decided to create another website which is what have been focusing on while I completely ignored this first website. This sale comes at a time when my website is neglected but this won’t be the case anymore.

This is my first ever blog in WA because I wanted my first blog to be about my first sale. Took longer than it should have (could have been earlier with a little more effort) but I finally did it. Hopefully more are on the way. Obviously, it will take a lot of hard work to generate more sales seeing has even the small traffic I had reduced greatly in the time I was absent but I intend to fix this. This sale has given me the motivation I needed.
