Just went Premium.

Well I decided to take the plunge and go Premium. I haven't had time to get as in depth as I would have liked to this first 6 days, but I've seen enough to start getting excited! The resources and community here definitely look like something worth risking $19 on, and I have a feeling it's going to pay off big time.

I've got some great goals set for myself, but I've had to scale back. I came up with a whole bunch of niches which I narrowed to four, made plans for all of them, and then decided to go one by one. So for now, I'm focusing on the Affiliate Bootcampe and building a 'make money online' site. Which is perfect, since that's what I'm trying to do. Direct relevance, yo.

Now it's all about the staying power--it's easy to get excited, a little more difficult to stick to the daily grind (I mean, party). But I'm not too worried. I like writing, I like learning, I like helping people, I like building things and making connections and earning money. All of which I will get to do making this website. So, yup. Super excited (grin).

Good luck to everybody else who's getting started as well! I look forward to getting to know you all.

it is a lot to take in isnt it? grow together an learn together and all of us can make huge changes, in our lives, the world - who knew it was going to be such fun though? :) best wishes to you, and lets just rock this

Thanks Lori, it's really true! Thanks for the good vibes, excited to see us all succeed!

Hey there! Congrats again on making the commitment. Just so you know, the "make money online" niche will most likely take longer than other niches to break into... Mostly because it's already pretty crowded... So I just want to make sure you're prepared to expect that.

Make sure you find some way to make your content unique to what is already out there and very personal to your own experience. How can people relate to what you're writing and your experience trying to figure out how to make money online?

For me personally, I chose the make money/promote WA niche as a way of learning the basics and because I couldn't think of anything else. Lol...

Sometimes I wish I would've started somewhere else, with something I'm more passionate about, but I'm happy with where I'm at right now.

Just stick with it and you'll be happy with where you'll end up someday!

Dustin

PS I'm typing this from my phone during my break so sorry for any typos that may exist

Thanks Dustin, I appreciate the heads up! I hadn't thought about that but I guess it is a pretty highly competitive niche with so much out there. Still, it seems like a good way to learn the basics as you said :) I feel like I really lucked out with a domain name so I'm hoping that will help. Although maybe I should run a keyword search and figure out why it hadn't been bought yet, lol ;)

I keep going back and forth on whether to try and build one site at a time or do a couple concurrently. Once I get a decent amount of content up I might go ahead and get started on one of the other niches I have in mind.

Dustin, I'm super motivated and prepared to put as much work as I need to into building my site. Can I ask, based on your experience, about how much time I should expect to spend on one site? Is it realistic to try and do two at once? I'd appreciate the insight :)

Thank you and good luck with everything!

Liz

That's a hard question to answer because everyone works differently. For me, I'm lucky to get 40-50 hours a month... Which isn't alot... Which is also a reason it's taken me longer then normal to get my site profitable. It took me 7 months before I made any significant revenue.

I would probably recommend working on one site at a time. However, if you feel you're very disciplined and organized, it would probably be possible to start with two at a time.

Also, if you have a limited amount of time per week, I'd probably say to just work on only one, otherwise it's just gonna take too long to build up your content on two separate sites. Would probably be good to build one up, start getting some steady traffic and revenue, then move onto the next.

Anyways, you know your abilities and motivations more than anyone, so do what you feel you're capable of doing well.

Dustin

PS Keywords are good and helpful, but don't worry about them too much as you write your content. I'm a firm believer that quality, natural content will always perform better than content that is slightly off because you're trying to get a certain keyword in there.

Thanks Dustin, that helps!

Good luck to you from one cat lover to another.

Thanks, you too!

You have a strong, positive onset. I haven't gone into the bootcamp, as I started my own niche in the robotic toy industry, but you have an up beat personality and your enjoyment of writing and learning and making money will be useful here at WA!

Congrats on your upgrade,
Curtis J. Pratt

Thanks Curtis! Robotic toys sound like an awesome niche, I'm sure you'll have great success with it if you haven't already. Pretty much all of my numerous male family members are into them, so if you send me your website i'll pass it along :)

I have some prior commitments today and then tomorrow i start writing content! Cant wait to get started :D

Elizabeth

My website is relatively new, and free of advertisements as I still have some paperwork with the IRS to deal with. meanwhile, content, content, content. The site does need some comments if their interested in the published blogs.

Thanks Curtis, I'll pass it along! It's a beautiful looking website, just to let you know you've got some of your theme sample content showing up on the first page ;) Love the posts, very interesting reading!

Thank you. I am actually aware of that flaw, in which I do plan to correct. The website is certainly under construction with the new theme, but media has been a challenge in which I plan to tackle soon.

Thank you for the positive remarks on the web page, and the constructive information on what may turn people off my page.

Welcome, being a new member myself (3 weeks) I had exactly the same attitude.

So the key as far as I am concerned is to focus.

Follow the advice, follow the lessons, don't be tempted to take shortcuts and do work hard.

I am loving every minute, you will too.

I have followed you, when you want your first review let me know and I can do it for you, or many others will if you ask.

Steve

Thank you Steve, and thank you for introducing yourself! It's nice to hear from someone who was recently where I'm at ;) I appreciate your advice, definitely going to apply it. I'll let you when i get my website up, a review would be great! If you need one as well just let me know, I'm happy to reciprocate :)

Have a great night!
