Business Success Tips, Help Before Asking
I read a story about a professor who asked his students to write their names on a balloon.
They are about 200, and all did as instructed.
The professor further asked them to keep the balloon in the adjacent room.
After keeping their balloons in the room, he gave them 5 minutes to find their own.
Not concerned about others, everyone was rushing, scampering to get hold of their own.
Once a student picks the ballon and notices it's not his, he throws it back into the room.
They continue this way, and woof! The 5 minutes is gone; no one came up with any balloon.
Zero achievements!
So, they returned to their seats empty-handed and tired.
The professor saw their frustration and said, go back to the room.
When you pick a balloon, read the name and return it to its rightful owner.
And in less than 5 minutes, they all came out smiling, holding their balloon in hand.
100% achievement.
What do you think changed?
We get what we want faster by helping others.
How do we relate this to our business?
Prioritize helping over asking.
We should think about adding value and helping our audience first.
It shouldn't be all about selling.
Address their pain point, try to solve it, build trust and credibility
Then help them reach their goals.
With that, we are aiming for greater success.
Keep moving forward, and don't give up.

Loved analogy my friend!
While some may believe they work better as individuals (and believe me, this is very true in certain people).
Working as a collective unit and assisting those around us, will, most of the time, get us all to where we would like to be much faster.

The lesson learned of this story line is a perfect example of how we should run a successful business, especially in the blogging area. When we blog, we tell a story to help our audience of interest, provide helpful information, earn trust, etc. All the other benefits like promoting a product or selling a product will tag along once visitors know who you are. Plus, you'll look good with Google or Google Adsense which can expand your business as being trustworthy. I appreciate the lesson learned of this story line and the meaning it represents. All the best!
I totally agree with you, John.
