My First Week on WA
This first week has been a bit of a whirlwind, I've been off work poorly so it's been a great distraction while I've been feeling so rubbish!
I have started websites before and they have halted because either I lost confidence in my writing or I have not really known what to do once I put those initial posts out there, you know what I mean? Being a part of WA has already taught me so much so to sum up some of my favorite things I have learnt this week from WA:
1) I never knew a place as supportive as WA existed on the internet. I've always wanted to help people and it feels a very comfortable for me to be here, in an environment that thrives off nonjudgmental support.
2) Who knew it was as easily to just find another topic in your niche and write another post/article. This is where I have struggled in the past, because I never knew how to follow my first post!
3) WA makes the whole affiliate marketing process so simple & easy!!
4) I love writing, I always have but I am so slow at writing posts, woooooooow it's takes me forever! I thought I could just bang out posts super quick, but no it takes me hours to write 800 words, NIGHTMARE! (Please someone tell me this get easier LOL)
5) There is so much more useful information here than just a guide to affiliate marketing, it's actually quite astounding.
Being on Wealthy Affiliate has really guided me to creating a website I'm proud of (that has more that one post on it LOL) and has inspired me to keep writing and for that I am grateful.
I'm really proud to be a part of this community and I'm thankful to everyone who has been a part of my first week here at WA so thank you! :D

What a great post, keep going lady, like you I too had been unwell took some time off work and was able to nail quite a few of the modules....

I am so proud of you Emily! Putting yourself out there is scary. But it's a lot easier when you have a community like this which will back and support you.
I remember what it was like to create a website without tools that WA provides and not having support from people that understood what I was trying to do. It made it very difficult for me. But fortunately I'm stubborn and I wanted my end goal. But now folks like you have this community so you're not alone.
The writing gets easier. The more you do it, the easier it gets. And you just have to come to grips that some of your first articles won't be as good. I look at my past articles and cringe. But guess what it was a start and got me out there. And that's part of the process. You're going to go through ups and downs.
The most important thing is not to give up. Lean on the community when you need help and encouragement. Don't suffer in silent. I've seen too many newbies do that and then miss out on a great opportunity. Keep it up!
